KH Designs

We enlisted KH Design based on a recommendation from our son and daughter-in-law who had used their services. We wanted to refresh and brighten up our small kitchen with new lighting, repainting and replacing flooring and a few cabinets and adding new appliances. We were very impressed and satisfied with the services that Keri and Holly provided in conceptualizing the kitchen design, working with the constraints of our small space and then organizing the subs and scheduling the completion of the work. Particularly they have a cadre of subcontract workers who are very professional and easy to work with. We were well satisfied with everyone who worked on the job. They were diligent, skillful and exacting in each of their specialties. KH developed an integrated schedule and coordinated with the subs to get their concurrence. Mostly that schedule was met with few glitches. We chose to coordinate the on-site work processes and got good cooperation among the subs. Kari was available to help with the few problems that arose. We would highly recommend KH Designs for remodeling projects. They are obviously experienced and knowledgeable in their design and project management skills.

Our elderly parent’s downstairs flooded. The bathroom and den were very outdated. Keri came in and worked her magic. Her design made the space more functional, light and gorgeous. We were both so busy that we did not have much time to devote to the project. Keri worked with contractors, brought ideas to our office and went above and beyond to make this seamless for us. We could not be more pleased, and I would call KH Designs to help with any project in the future!

We chose Keri Herring of KH Designs because I knew her through a social group, and she had worked with acquaintances on other renovation projects. Keri helped us chose a shower wall tile that was a copy of our marble countertops, and the herring bone floor we picked provides us with a safe, non slip shower. We chose to use some of our own subs - electrician, plumber and painter - who had worked with us over the years and helped build our house. Finding a tile person was more difficult, but the person we settled on was very good, and he helped us make some small changes to the shower design that were a big improvement. Two other subs did not show the care and attention to detail that I expected, and they were the cause of concern and some delay to the whole project. When choosing to do any major renovation, you should expect some small issues to arise, but over all ours were managable There will always be the unexpected. Budget your money and check the time frame. Most projects take longer and cost more than expected. That's life. The refresh of our Master Bath looks great and will definitely be enjoyed my husband and me thanks to Keri's knowledge and expertise. We enjoyed working with her

Collaborating with Keri is a breeze. She listens. She finds inspiration for your project! She works within your budget. She will use local suppliers. She can create a plan that any contractor can follow or work as a project manager. Her work on our kitchen has made our lives easier and more beautiful. Can’t wait to collaborate again!

Keri did a great job on the design and execution for my house renovation. She maximized the space in my small home and made the layout more functional, logical, and beautiful! KH Designs is a superior decorator/interior designers. The final projects are better than I could have created, yet still feel like me. They took sufficient time and attention to detail throughout every aspect of the project. They helped me take just enough risks in my design to create a unique space that is still timeless and functional. Highly recommended!

After dealing with numerous contractors it became abundantly clear that we needed professional help (in more ways than one!) to move forward with our plans. A couple of “remodelers” came out and promised to contact us with a quote only to be never heard from again. At this point a builder we were familiar with recommended we contact Keri Herring in Rome, Georgia. This was a pivotal point for our project. Keri made an appointment with us …and kept it on schedule. This may seem small but we’ve come to recognize that “reliable” is not a common trait among the renovation world folk. Keri arrived as scheduled and asked a million questions and took even more pictures. She was prompt, friendly and professional. Though we had a good idea of the things we wanted done, Keri made numerous suggestions and was familiar with required space and special orientation of the significant changes we were requesting. Being knowledgeable in the field, she knew the space you need between an island and the stove etc. Upon leaving Keri said she would be in contact with 3d renderings of the project. She did not disappoint. She was very easy to talk to about changes we wanted made to the drawings and responded quickly. At this point we were still in a quandary trying to find a reliable contractor that could take on a project this size. While not like building a complete house, it was a large undertaking; removing walls, building walls, installing numerous doorways, plumbing electrical, flooring etc. Keri from K-h Designs recommended a company called House on Stone (owned and operated by Celilio Ramirez). Highly Recommend

KH Designs created the plans for our renovation of a 1966 ranch. The house had originally been a small 2bed 1 bath house, that had been added onto in some very questionable and strange ways. I had an idea of how to rework the floor plan to make it work for me and my Husband. Keri asked if I was open to other ideas, and the design she came up with blew my mind! I would never have though it was possible to create what she did using the existing floor plan, and only moving a few walls and entryways. She was also very helpful since I was acting as my own GC, always available to answer questions and make suggestions. This was almost a full-gut reno, and with her plan it went much smoother than reno's we have done in the past. This is our forever home so I can't say I would use her again, as we are retired, but I would DEFINITELY (and do) recommend her to anyone!! Jenn & Bob Gossman Rome, GA

Keri is so easy to work with and she is a natural! I lack the vision for what an existing space could be, and Keri saw right away how we could maximize our existing space, open up our house with light and better sight lines. She is truly gifted!

Keri has such an ability to create beautiful but also functional spaces. After just one meeting with her, she picked up on my style and was able to quickly make a plan for our master bathroom. Keri was easy to work with and helped us choose options that kept us within our budget. We couldn't be happier with the final product, and we look forward to working with her on future projects!

We live part time in GA and part time in SC. Due to unexpected issues with our condo in SC (necessitating us to be in SC), the majority of our powder room, master bath and large deck renovations in GA were handled long distance by KH Designs. We could not have asked for a better project manager than Hollye. Hollye’s attention to detail and coordination/management of all the workers we used, along with Keri’s oversight, far exceeded all our expectations. Communication and pictures sent of progress made were ongoing and we so appreciated that not one penny was spent without our prior knowledge and approval. We are most impressed and entirely happy with every aspect of our completed project and intend to ask KH Designs to assist us in 2023 for our kitchen renovation!
