Keri is an Interior Designer with a degree in Interior Design and 30 years of experience in Commercial and Residential design. She started her own design company, KH Designs in 2001 and business has grown completely by word of mouth. KH Designs offers extensive design services ranging from whole house renovations & additions, to kitchen and bath remodels, basement and attic build-outs, fixture, furniture and fabric selections, designing custom built-ins, paint consultation, art procurement/installation and decorating. We take our time to listen to our clients needs, paying special attention to the details. We are committed to understanding project goals and budget, knowing that each project is unique.

Keri and her team did a great job organizing all the details with our kitchen, mudroom and butlers pantry renovation. She presented detailed plans for our contractor and electrician. She listened to what we were looking for and sourced everything from tile to fixtures to paint colors within our budget and style. We had a lot of moving parts with this renovation but Keri kept everything stressfree!:) Highly recommend

Our experience with Keri and KH designs was great! We purchased our house in Rome while still living in Virginia. Keri did a great job of communicating with us through Zoom or FaceTime calls. We are grateful to Keri and Tod for the beautiful finished product! Love our kitchen!

Keri helped my husband and I reconfigure our upstairs to add an additional bathroom and modify a bonus room to be an additional bedroom. She brought perspective and ideas that we had not thought about that were way better than anything we had imagined (and practical to implement with a contractor). Its been a few years now and we still absolutely love it! Without her expertise this project would not have been as successful and we would not hesitate to hire Keri again to help us with projects down the line. Thank you Keri!

We have lived in our 144-year-old house for 10 years. I designed the redo of one bath and the kitchen myself, so I have a good vision for these things. However, the old bedroom that at some time was turned into a bathroom without a shower and laundry closet really had me stumped. I could not come up with a good use of this strange space that also included a floor to ceiling slanted wall. Kerry came in and came up with a plan that I had never imagined. She came up with plans for this troublesome space that I am so excited for and incorporated all my wishes and more. Kerry was very nice and professional as well. Highly recommend!

We enlisted KH Design based on a recommendation from our son and daughter-in-law who had used their services. We wanted to refresh and brighten up our small kitchen with new lighting, repainting and replacing flooring and a few cabinets and adding new appliances. We were very impressed and satisfied with the services that Keri and Holly provided in conceptualizing the kitchen design, working with the constraints of our small space and then organizing the subs and scheduling the completion of the work. Particularly they have a cadre of subcontract workers who are very professional and easy to work with. We were well satisfied with everyone who worked on the job. They were diligent, skillful and exacting in each of their specialties. KH developed an integrated schedule and coordinated with the subs to get their concurrence. Mostly that schedule was met with few glitches. We chose to coordinate the on-site work processes and got good cooperation among the subs. Kari was available to help with the few problems that arose. We would highly recommend KH Designs for remodeling projects. They are obviously experienced and knowledgeable in their design and project management skills.

Our elderly parent’s downstairs flooded. The bathroom and den were very outdated. Keri came in and worked her magic. Her design made the space more functional, light and gorgeous. We were both so busy that we did not have much time to devote to the project. Keri worked with contractors, brought ideas to our office and went above and beyond to make this seamless for us. We could not be more pleased, and I would call KH Designs to help with any project in the future!

We chose Keri Herring of KH Designs because I knew her through a social group, and she had worked with acquaintances on other renovation projects. Keri helped us chose a shower wall tile that was a copy of our marble countertops, and the herring bone floor we picked provides us with a safe, non slip shower. We chose to use some of our own subs - electrician, plumber and painter - who had worked with us over the years and helped build our house. Finding a tile person was more difficult, but the person we settled on was very good, and he helped us make some small changes to the shower design that were a big improvement. Two other subs did not show the care and attention to detail that I expected, and they were the cause of concern and some delay to the whole project. When choosing to do any major renovation, you should expect some small issues to arise, but over all ours were managable There will always be the unexpected. Budget your money and check the time frame. Most projects take longer and cost more than expected. That's life. The refresh of our Master Bath looks great and will definitely be enjoyed my husband and me thanks to Keri's knowledge and expertise. We enjoyed working with her
