Our house project started out as removing one wall between the formal dining room and enclosed kitchen as an "add on" to an insurance claim due to a broken pipe. I wanted something unique that would open up those two rooms but, not too open as to show all the mess in the kitchen. Kerri came up with several interesting ideas- one in particular which caught my eye was an open work steel representation of tree limbs above a short wall to allow people to see through the space above the mess. However, my husband and I did not quite agree on what to do. Kerri suggested making a business case for renovation and ultimately resale, which included Kerri’s referral to a residential real estate agent who evaluated best resale options. As a result of her connections, she was able to make arrangements for an agent to meet the next day. From that meeting we learned opening up the wall to the family room from the kitchen would be our greatest return and what buyers are looking for in homes today. The project quickly mushroomed from there to include adding a food display and bar service area in the family room, as well as, a redo of the fireplace. The clock was ticking on the rental home provided by our insurance company for two months. In the meantime, we also decided to remodel our Master Bathroom. Kerri along with our GC worked closely and timely. Neither my husband or I had the time to deal with the decisions as I travel constantly. Within a week we had a bathroom design which completely reorganized our existing bathroom to include his and her vanities, a “hers" makeup area, a shower with bench and a private toilet room (sans bathtub-that neither of my husband or I used) and gave a much more open look and feel to this narrow room. We simultaneously juggled the kitchen design and decisions. Kerri worked with a team of experts who offered six cabinet lines to suit our bathroom and kitchen aesthetics and budget. We were presented with options that allowed us to compare and reprice our layout immediately in order to make our decisions. It was a whirlwind but, Kerri was there at every turn with 2-3 choices for each decision needed and anticipated each well in advance of the GC needing answers in order to keep to the construction schedule. Kerri listened carefully and had an excellent read on my vision even though I wasn’t even sure what it was. She was patient, helpful, was respectful of the ever important budget, and was instrumental in making sure the GC understood the modern approach to construction. In one case, she caught the shower bench being built in a more traditional manner with a high wall so that when you walked into the bathroom you would immediately feel it was closed in. Instead she had the glass shower enclosure sit right on the bench so when you walk in all you see is the beautiful glass shower and a sense of spaciousness. That made all the difference. I would recommend Kerri for all these reasons and more.

Kerri was absolutely wonderful throughout my entire bathroom remodel. She helped me from the beginning to the end, allowing for a seamless experience. She was attentive to detail, and extremely helpful when things arose that required extra attention. She had the ability to really listen to what I liked, and worked within my desires and vision for my project. I appreciated how she continually brought new ideas and suggestions to the table, expanding my vision and bringing about great results.
