Joe is simply outstanding at all he does. He painted, he prepped, he staged and sorted and fixed all kinds of details in our home. All at an incredible pace. Beyond all of that incredible help, he’s an utter joy to work with. I cannot recommend someone more highly!

Our experience with Joe was outstanding. He was the key to getting our house ready for sale and was able to uncover, freshen and enhance its beauty. Main things that come to mind about our experience with Joe are: 1 He is extremely knowledgeable about big picture design (color, lighting, paint, furniture style and placement, flooring, etc.) and is capable of executing that design (painting, furniture sourcing and placement, lighting sourcing and installation, etc.) 2) He worked with our home's style (Contemporary Craftsman) versus employing a cookie cutter approach 3) He created a detailed written plan that guided the project, but was flexible as the job progressed 4) On the few occasions that an outside expert was needed (carpet, some electrical), he was able to provide us with reliable contacts 5) His work ethic is impeccable: always punctual, went the extra mile for us, detail-oriented, action-oriented 6) He stayed on-time and within budget and was consistently able to find ways to save us money In short, we can't say enough about Joe and "Making Spaces Work." Joe listened, suggested, and worked within our budget. We love our space from the laundry room, media room, kitchen to the Master. Couldn't be happier.

This project should have taken 6 months, but because Joe was so organized and worked so well with all the sub-contractors, we were able to renovate and refurnish 10,000 sq. ft. in less than 4 months. Joe was the ultimate professional. He knew when to concede and he knew when to push because he knew he was right (and I have to admit he was right 99% of the time!!). My property is amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with through it all.

Our whole house project involved changing almost every surface of our newly-purchased home in some way—it felt overwhelming! However, after a frustrating start with our contractor, Joe was referred to us and was able to get our contractor back on track. Joe was absolutely amazing. He helped us with almost every aspect of the redo—from picking paint colors and flooring to lighting needs and furniture, including furniture layout. He was even willing to meet me at stores to help make the process easier and more efficient.
