My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

We engaged MH for full design services for a new property. We were extremely disappointed at almost every aspect of the engagement including project management and oversight, customer service, communication and issue resolution, incorrect sizing of pieces based on space as well as poor product quality. We actually elected to finish the project on our own without ‘professional’ help. We would definitely not recommend MH for design services.

We were very sorry to hear that the Kaminskis are unhappy. Their project, like so many others, experienced delays in the midst of Covid 19. These unforeseen circumstances caused delays in shipments due to either materials not being available or Covid 19 outbreaks in the manufacturing plants. We sometimes needed to reschedule labors such as wallpaper installers, carpet installers, painters, and electricians all due to either their own illness or exposure.

Each and every time there was a delay, sickness, or service order, each issue was dealt with swiftly and promptly.

This project finished beautifully and for that we are pleased and hope that the Kaminksis are happy with the results - because in the end, that’s the true joy… no one enjoys waiting and waiting on things to ship!

We have been customers of Mitchell Hill for many years and have always admired the layout of the Charleston store as well as the artists represented within the galleries. It wasn't until we hired Michael and his amazing team as a designer that we fully realized his brilliance and dedication to the task at hand. Michael and his team help bring your dreams to life- except they make them look even a little bit better. They were always punctual, always reliable and always fun. We could not give them a higher recommendation.

Michael Mitchell is the ultimate designer. He is underwhelming in that he listens to his clients, asks questions about their needs as well as wants, the look they are striving to accomplish and makes comments or questions as appropriate. He does not try to get clients to subscribe to his taste or design preference, rather helps hone his clients wishes and implements with quite a flair!

We are in the process of completing our second project with Michael and Tyler - and I cannot say enough about this design team. Our home is lovely - it's polished, unique, lives perfectly - they absolutely surpassed our expectations. From the art and lighting to the spatial planning, even the doorknobs and cabinet hardware, our home is a knockout. Not only do they have excellent resources and knowledge to design your spaces, they are just fun to work with - and what they do best is make your home reflect you. Our home is complete perfection.

I hired Michael and Tyler several years ago to help my fiancé and I in the process of making our house a home. They went above and beyond my expectations! When it came time to decide on a cocktail table for our living room and we just couldn't find anything that we loved or that really fit the space, it only seemed logical to have Tyler design a table. The result was phenomenal. The table is well-made, gorgeous, and our guests are constantly commenting on how unique it is. We are so happy with Mitchell Hill's product and customer service!

I have purchased amazing art at Michael Mitchell galleries and engaged Michael as an interior designer to complete my pied-a-terre in Charleston SC's historic district. Michael bonds with his clients and gets to know their style and preferences. He and his team have great ideas and select new and different items to bring a sense of style, comfort and ambiance reflecting the client's wants. I love my little "jewel box" in Charleston and never could have achieved its specialness without Michael and his design style and unique furnishings and accessories.
