Refresh Design

My kitchen renovation was designed and created by Amy at Refresh Design. My contractor was wowed by my binder full of colors, samples, and work orders. Amy is professional, attentive, and punctual. I, myself, am not confident in making deign decisions, so Amy listened carefully and directed me towards a result that I love and my friends admire!

I had a lot of questions with regard to design, updates, etc. Amy was thorough and very fun to work with. She had great ideas and style advice for the rooms I needed help with. She even provided additional options and places to shop for certain things. We accomplished so much in the hour plus she was here. I would definitely recommend her and hire her again.

We hired Amy from Refresh Design to help us pick out new colors for our home. The colors the previous owners had chosen were very bold and unique so it was difficult to imagine what new colors would look like. By asking us questions about our taste, past homes, and what colors we found beautiful and soothing, she was able to pinpoint several selections that we would love. We have only had a chance to update one room so far, but I am very grateful for her time and expertise every time I go into our freshly painted sun room!

What a wonderful experience! The designer who came to my house was so kind, helpful and talented. Just the consultation gave me lots to think about. I love that they will tailor their services to what their client needs every step of the way.

Found Amy on Houzz and liked her website. We wanted to make big changes in paint colors and replace carpeting with hardwood floors but had no idea where to start. Amy narrowed our choices down to the point where we could make an actual decision! We wound up going with her recommendations and are very pleased with the results. She guided us well!

Amy has helped me in two ways. First, she advised me on staging my home for sale. I followed her suggestions and our house sold quickly. Then, Amy visited our new house to guide me through color and texture choices for some new furniture. The next step is for her to meet me at the furniture store and assist me with selections. Amy asks great questions and listens to me. She seems to really understand the environment I'm trying to create. She helps me identify my style and guides me toward building the look and ambiance that best reflects me and my family. Amy is warm, professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.

Amy at Refresh Design was great to work with. She was very personable and really understood my redecorating dilemmas. She's a great resource person. Gave me lots of options while staying within my budget and my active family's needs.

If you want a designer who listens first, then responds to your needs, taste and budget, then Refresh Design is who you should work with. Amy's "client first" mindset has given us a space that is us, not some representation of who someone thinks we should be. Easy to work with, personable and talented. She gets 5 stars.

We enjoyed working with Refresh Design very much! Following our consultation, we received a comprehensive and easy to use binder of detailed plans (including flooring, paint and counter surface samples) for our remodel project. It was prepared so that we could use it at our own pace, as we were able to tackle each room of our home. Amy's work ensured that our open concept floor plan would be complimentary in terms of colors and styles even if it wasn't all completed at the same time. We have referred back to our binder often! I highly recommend contacting Refresh Design if you are considering a small room redo or a complete home remodel. You won't be disappointed.

I would highly recommend Amy Pottenger of Refresh Design. Amy is very professional, yet is very flexible and willing to work with her clients to create the optimal living space. We love her design for our integrated living room, dining room, and kitchen and are proud to show it off to friends and family. Her ability to understand our preferences, along with her great eye for color and scale, provided us with a space we love and feel comfortable in.
