Ruth

Ruth founded Fifty/Fifty Interior Design in Portland, OR in 1995, primarily providing services to clients as a color consultant. From there, Ruth grew her reputation as a detail-oriented colorist with an elegant and value-based approach to design projects. For the past 16 years, Ruth has expanded her portfolio of projects, becoming more efficient and knowledgeable on several design fronts, and able to apply her artistic sensibilities to many real world projects. Ruth’s approach is both intuitive and informed. Her background in art, coupled with a therapeutic perspective gained in healthcare-based settings, allows her to apply her strengths to the specialized area of designing assisted living facilities, Alzheimer’s care centers and other community and healthcare based spaces. The therapeutic aspect of color underlies any project when Ruth is involved.
