Jennifer has a great eye for design and was instrumental in helping to get the correct furniture/paint/cabinets put into place. She immediately understood the feel we were going for and after visiting our home, began sending me photos to try to more narrowly define my style. Would definitely work with this group again!

Traditions carries the Laura Ashley line of sofa beds. My small guest room/library required a fold out sofa. All of my overnight guests wake up refreshed and delighted with their night sleep.

I have in the San Luis Obispo area for 23 years. Traditions has been providing furniture, window coverings, accents and interior design expertise for longer than I have been in the area. When I buy big ticket items, I always go to local long established businesses. Two reasons, in local communities your reputation is established early, and can be lost by bad business practices. And two, continuing in business for so many years, indicates, the business stays current with design trends, and is priced comepitavely. Traditions stands out as a well run and respected interior furniture and design firm. I have bought sofa's, lamps, window treatments and accessories over the years. I love my ultra swede sofa's. I get compliments on my window treatments, and the ginger jar lamps fit my style. The staff is a blend of older experience and younger energy and ideas. Easy to work with. They listen and understand you and your likes and dislikes, and they deliver. Heads above the local competition.

I purchased a queen sofa bed from San Luis Traditions after making making a mistake purchasing online with Wayfair. Colors aren't accurate online and the quality was subpar. It was an expensive mistake. We purchased an American Leather Sofa Bed and we couldn't be happier with the quality and the comfort. Allegra at San LuisTraditions came to my home with fabric samples and helped me pick out the right fabric to make the room look great. They turned a frustrating experience into a completely satisfying one.

My husband and I were on vacation this summer in the San Luis area this summer when we stumbled upon the San Luis Traditions shop. We had been in the mind for a new sofa and the shop had some lovely pieces displayed. We were in and out of the shop over a period of about two weeks. Every time we entered the shop Jason Ortiz was as welcoming and helpful as anyone could hope for. His design expertise was most helpful to us. We ultimately placed a sofa order. On 8/8/14 the big day arrived and the sofa was delivered. On delivery we discovered that a mistake had been made by the manufacturer - there was no welting on any of the sofa cushions. I immediately placed a telephone call to the shop asking what action would be taken. My call was received by Carlos. Carlos had gotten to know us when we were in and out of the shop. He immediately took action putting me at ease as to how this over site would be remedied. He confirmed my order, took my number and said he would contact the manufacturer and get back to me. I had a call from him within five minutes. He advised that the manufacturer would make a new set of cushion covers and that we could expect them within about three weeks. This speaks to the credibility of the manufacturers that this shop chooses to use. Any one can make a mistake, it's how it is remedied that counts. Just over a week ago the new cushion covers arrived in perfect order. The sofa is BEAUTIFUL, and the service we received by this shop was five star, from start to finish. Even the delivery that was coordinated by Jason was spectacular. Thank you San Luis Traditions for providing such a fine piece of furniture, and for giving five star service to go with. SLO Traditions was wonderful....Jason was required to travel 120 miles roundtrip to service us. Never once did he make it seem out of his way, he always came with a smile and eagerness to work. Jason helped me with design ideas, fabric coordination, and window coverings as well as new furniture & many accessories. He was always will to help by providing suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the products/fabrics he was representing. Never did I feel pressured to purchase something that I didn't love. In fact, at times I wished he could have given me a stronger personal opinion. I am so pleased with our finished project....I cant wait to have SLO Traditions (Jason) work with me for future design.

San Luis Traditions was the perfect match between design and providing affordable furnishings for our Vacation Rental. Service after the sale was a part with minor repairs on window treatments handled seamlessly. We'll use San Luis Traditions for our next project.

We needed window coverings for our bedroom and kitchen and felt slightly overwhelmed by all of the choices available. Jason came over, measured windows and got a feeling for our home, style and needs. His recommendations were spot on and we now have gorgeous sheer silhouette shades in the bedroom and woven shades in the kitchen that added the needed balance and privacy. Superb job!
