Second Wind Interior Design is first class. Beginning with Ana, she has a unique eye and great project management skills. We have used her now several times and she has never disappointed. She’s driven to understand, first and foremost, what her clients want to do with the given space being decorated/renovated. She then pulls together great ideas and makes sure to get your agreement on everything. She also has access to a first class team of tradespeople to pull off the project. They do exceptional work. No complaints. We have now used Second Wind to redo about 10 rooms in our house. She also fully decorated our cottage.

Ana is a very elegant designer that knows how to bring unique pieces to classic taste. It was a pleasure working with her. She also thinks a design all the way through to functionality. We would definitely speak with her again for future projects.

We have been in this house for over 10 years and loved everything about it except the kitchen. It had dated melamine cabinets, didn’t have enough storage and was poorly laid out for entertaining, which we love to do. Ana came highly recommended and was so worth the investment. We’ve never done a major renovation before and needed a lot of hand holding to get us through all the decisions and planning. Ana took her time educating us and suggesting how we could get everything we wanted within our budget. Our kitchen looks amazing and the adjacent family room had a nice face-lift too. Our house looks more modern now and it’s so comfortable, we have people over all the time. We couldn’t have done it without her guidance and patience.

Our initial contractor suggested Second Wind Interior Design services to design the bathroom and kitchen because we were completely renovating our home. Because we were so impressed with the work she had completed in the kitchen and bath areas we trusted her to aid in design of the remainder of the house, including furnishings, artwork, etc. Ana has been with us during our home renovations from start to finish and we could not be happier with her service. I was referred to Second Wind Interiors by a friend who loved working with Ana for her kitchen renovation. Right from the first meeting I could tell she was the right person for us. She asked a lot of questions about our lifestyle and seemed genuinely interested in designing something that was unique to our home and family. She helped us decorate our entire main floor with new furniture, lights, rugs, art and right down to the pillows and candles. We were so impressed with her professionalism and attention to details and how she could translate all of our wishes into reality. We’ve already started planning our next project with Ana and can’t wait to see what she will do. It’s so worth the investment in a great Designer when you are busy, overwhelmed or just unsure about how to pull a big project together.

After several years of living in our house, it was finally time to work on our unfinished basement. We had a large space (over 1,000 sq. ft.) and wanted to pack in as much as possible. We were referred to Second Wind by a friend who had used her in the past and said she was fantastic. As soon as we met with Ana, we knew we were in good hands. She really listened to what we needed and asked lots of questions about how our family wanted to use the space. She showed us 3D design plans so we could envision the space and we were able to make small changes very easily. We now have an amazing basement that is nicer than our main floor – we have a wet bar, bathroom, media room with fireplace and exercise room as well as a lot of great storage with built in cabinets. We love to entertain in this space and our kids have friends over a lot more too. If you are overwhelmed with all the pictures on Houzz and not sure how to make it happen, I would definitely tell you to hire Ana to help.

I have had consultations with 2 previous designers and both times felt that they were most interested/comfortable with trying to work with/impose their own styles. Ana was so different and wonderful. She spent our time together getting to know me and my family, our needs, and our lifestyle. She asked great questions and had super suggestions. I am looking forward to working with her on many projects.
