Malinda Sharp has helped us over the last twenty years as we moved four times to four different cities. After getting to know our family, Malinda helped us select the perfect colors, fabrics, and furniture to turn each house into a home. For our last move, Malinda provided design ideas for a fireplace renovation, and the result is simply stunning. Remodel of 2 bathrooms; completely took one bathroom down to studs and remodeled the shower as well as bathroom cabinets, lighting, and tile flooring. 2nd bathroom updated bathtub, tile and lighting.

Ms. Sharp helped us on two projects. One on our home in Norcross, GA and as a consultant when remodeling a kitchen in Franklin, TN. The project in Norcross entailed updating two 44 year old bathrooms. Malinda had fantastic ideas of tile, color and how to bring it to the future. The bathrooms looked fabulous! She also had wonderful people to let us contact and evaluate if we wanted to used them to perform the services. Malinda is very easy to work with, and we would chose her again if we lived in the Atlanta area. Our second project was a full renovation on a kitchen in Franklin, TN. Malinda allowed us to hire her as a consultant and pay an hourly fee to help guide us along from a distance. This was helpful to me because we had a wonderful working relationship, and I felt like she was my representative versus the company we had hired. Sharp Designs assisted in a remodeling project we had in our home. Malinda Sharp has wonderful, innovative ideas. We were repainting the entire house and remodeling the kitchen. She listened to what I knew I wanted and needed, then turned it into something so much better! We hired Malinda Sharp to do design work and coordinate with our contractor on a total renovation of the bedrooms (3) and bathrooms (2) in our townhouse. (The total project was about $60,000). She offered several options for our consideration and explained each of them, including detailed information on costs, delivery time and how each choice fit into the rest of the project. She coordinated with the contractor on materials and scheduling, which saved us time and money. She was very conscientious of our budget and found creative ways to save on some items so we could splurge on the things that were more important. She communicates often, keeps you up-to-date on everything, is very honest with billing her time, and her rates were not as expensive as a lot of designers in Atlanta. I will definitely use her in the future.

Malinda Sharp was helpful in helping us think through our move, some paint colors, a new rug for the house. Also, she helped me with bedroom drapes in our new home. She has good ideas and works with her clients......since our home sold in 1 day we think she was very helpful.

Melinda Sharp is truly a dedicated and knowledgeable designer. She starts to work the minute you meet and is very diplomatic while describing your home and making suggestions. She has so many ideas, you can't possible do them all so you must pick and choose. It's important for her to hear your opinion as well for it is your home and it must fit your personality. She tries to fit your style. If she doesn't answer your phone call she is quick to return it...many times within minutes. She is always accessible and a good communicator. I work with Malinda (and have for many years) on projects to create beautiful wall, ceiling, furniture, and cabinetry finishes. She comes up with the decorative or faux finish, and we execute them. Her ideas are always beautiful. She is amazing! She is so totally able to choose fabrics, furniture, architectural design -- really everything and then put them in your home so that your home reflects YOU. I have never seen any thing that she has touched that didn't turn out absolutely gorgeous! She is well-able to work within a designated budget. We have worked together on jobs that were small, under $1,000 and on the large ones where the budgets were in the tens of thousands. I highly recommend Malinda as a designer. We updated the inside of our home with Malinda's help. Updating included new paint, new carpet, drapes, furniture, and a host of little things. I loved Malinda's suggestions and her desire to give us what we wanted. At the time, I had three young children at home and wanted updates that would stand the test of time and my family. Malinda delivered! Almost 10 years later and we are still enjoying her work. The carpet and new sofa have held up to kids, dogs, and cats. I remember Malinda saying that what we did should last until the kids are out of college. So far, so good. My oldest just graduated this past December!
