About Us

Miller provides both home staging and interior decorating services to residential and small business clients in Asheville and surrounding areas of Western NC. In decorating, Miller works closely with her clients to understand their needs and dreams to create an inspiring, nurturing home that provides the lifestyle they want with the function they expect. She enjoys incorporating pieces that clients have and love then building on that foundation. In new build and remodels, she guides clients through the major decisions of selecting paint color, wallpaper, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, window treatments, and furniture. In addition, Miller has been providing staging consultations and hands-on staging for both occupied and vacant houses since 2006. She has rental furniture, accessories, art, lighting and linens, as needed. Staging helps a home to look bigger, brighter, and more inviting. As a result, houses appeal to a wider market of potential buyers. It leads to more activity and faster sales by giving buyers the vision they need to feel like they can love living in the house. Miller has studied Feng Shui under two masters and incorporates the principles of Feng Shui in all projects.

Miller did a great job staging my condo when I put it on the market. She helped not only with setting up furniture and decor, but also helped to pick out paint and carpet colors, she made recommendations for upgrades (such as painting the kitchen cabinets) that would have a big impact on the overall appearance of the condo and would also fit within our budget. We put the condo on the market around noon on Friday and had a full price offer that afternoon. I know that the condo looked fantastic thanks to Miller's help and this helped sell the condo so quickly. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone, the return on investment was worth it.

i was willing to pay the fee of $250 (worth the investment usually ) for a brief consultation because her website claimed she did have senior move experience. i believed she did as it was on the website and she verified. - She said she would be happy to help with antique and art as well since she knew many with the expertise. That never quite happened which was crucial at the time. I did find someone else but i didn't appreciate being left with nothing of use for $250. Ms. Miller texted 6 telephone #'s.while i watched ,and that was the end of consultation. 3 were not working numbers. disappointing -on a side note i did find someone ,so they are out there

I'm truly sorry your experience didn't match your expectations. It was my understanding that you wanted a consultation to get your home market-ready - making it as attractive, inviting, and move-in ready as possible. In addition, you had a couple of items that you wanted to dispose of. Here’s what we did:

1. We spent 2 hours in consultation at your home, discussing repairs, updates, and what needed to be done to stage your home to appeal to the broadest market of potential buyers.

2. Then we discussed the piece of art and wardrobe (in need of repair) that you wanted to sell. While at your home, I contacted (by phone) an estate vendor who works in an art gallery. I sent pictures of the art and she researched outlets for it, responding with what she thought was the best fit, a local auction house that deals in both art and antiques. Additionally, I researched the artist later. In the report, I provided the information on the auction house and the name of a gallery that carries the artist's work.

3. That day and in the report, I provided contact information for 6 vendors, the phone numbers for whom I verified.

4. Four business days after our meeting (after a long holiday weekend), I left a voice message on your phone and received no response.

5. I followed up with a written report (sent via email), documenting the recommendations for repairs and staging, the outlets for the art and wardrobe, local consignment companies, links to websites where you could purchase items for updates should you choose to do so, and the names of vendor contacts again.

6. I offered (both verbally and in writing) to return -- at no additional charge -- to help you arrange furniture and do the final touches to make your home photo- and market-ready.

As a small business person, my goal is to surpass expectations. I'm truly sorry we weren't able to get on the same page about your needs, what I could do to help you, and what you needed to do. The door is open if I can help in anyway now. I wish you the best for a successful sale of your home.

Miller is excellent with space concepts, design and color. We worked together to remodel an 11,000 sf office building in Asheville and she was terrific to work with and very responsive to our needs and our budget. She recommended vendors who performed on time and were also excellent to work with. We had a very tight budget but made a terrific overhaul of our office space. I highly recommend her!
