About Us

StudioTrimble, Inc. is located in downtown Blue Ridge, GA with projects all across the US and Canada. The studio celebrated its 25th anniversary this year with a state ASID Design Award for Chester Brunnenmeyer's Pub in downtown Blue Ridge. Our studio in Historic downtown Blue Ridge houses an extensive resource library with a fabric room, catalogs, material samples (paints, natural stone, huge variety of wood species and finish options.) Our clients love coming to the studio where we can pull materials together for their house so they can see and touch everything. We offer interior design & detailing, lighting design, color and material selections, kitchen and bath design, custom window treatments, furnishing selection, procurement and installation. Our services are turn-key design from home concept design through the design of the lighting, kitchen & bath, specialty elements such handrails, built-ins, fireplaces, stair cases all the way through complete furnishing/window treatment/art selection, procurement and installation. Many of our projects require custom design features including lighting fixtures, furnishings, tile, handrails and much more. Owner Cindy Trimble, ASID, NCIDQ has been a Certified Interior Designer for over 30 years. She graduated from Emory University with a BA in History of Art & Architecture with a minor in Business. She later studied Environmental Design at the New England School of Art & Design then transferred to Rhode Island School of Design where she earned a BFA in Interior Architecture. She spent the first 15+ years in Commercial Interior Design with large architectural firms in Atlanta. Following 9-11 she moved to her cabin in the North Georgia Mountains and refocused her studio on Mountain and Country design, which provides both residential and commercial design services. Her projects have been widely published in both Trade and Lifestyle magazines in addition to winning many design awards over the years.

Trimble Studios was just what we were looking for. They had a tremendous amount of selections for us to choose from and we found everything we needed for our new home. We started by sending in pictures of things we loved and then they picked out several options for us to consider. They were generous with their time as we spent hours in Cindy's studio pouring over items, pictures, swatches, etc. I have already recommended StudioTrimble to others and will continue to do so.

Cindy was amazing I was ill and had to be out of town for treatment Cindy took my charmer mountain cottage and truly made it into a home. I gave Cindy free rein on fixtures lighting paint Etc. She was especially sensitive to sticking To a tight budget . Cindy started the project by designing a floor Plan and furniture plan .Her architectural Skills were especially useful to help me Visualize her Vision. Cindy is also very creative in finding solutions To possible problems My kitchen cabinets Needed replacing. I really did not want to Spend the money for new cabinets. Cindy’s idea fo remove the upper kitchen cabinets and Install floating shelves was brilliant and so On trend. I have a condo in Buckhead I may renovate If I do I will certainly hire Cindy. She is simply the best!

I wish there were a rating higher than 5 stars; StudioTrimble is deserving of such a rating. Cindy and her team are amazing. They were able to listen to my vision and make it so. I have an eclectic style (to say the least). I want my home to reflect the many layers of what I love and who we are, as a family. My love for varied art, antiques, modern style, old farm boards,... yes, Grandpa's wood toting 100 year old wagon is next to the grand piano. Cindy knows how to weave balance, color, design, style and make it YOU. She and her team also have a great respect for you budget. What is really cool is that ALL of my art fit back in the room (and, even better). I am only having to purchase two cushy chairs and the couch.. .all other furniture fits as if it was made to be so. Well, perhaps it was. On a practical note, Team Trimble was super fast to answer any last minute questions or brain storm thoughts. Follow through with deadlines and communication with my contractor- also excellent. These are important qualities to make a project fun and make good memories int the process. Thank you, StudioTrimble, for your awesome work.

Cindy’s professionalism, deep knowledge and ability to focus disparate inputs were pivotal to the successful construction of our mountain home in North Georgia. Her talents extended far beyond what I would consider the “design elements” into more of a project manager’s role. Cindy’s vast experience allowed her to monitor and advise the builder during all aspects of construction. This “value added” benefit allowed for seamless communication and monitoring when I was unable to visit the construction site - especially important when you are building two hours away from your home! Cindy allowed us to stay within our budget not simply by suggesting cheaper alternatives but by seeking out suppliers that were willing to work with us on pricing. Cindy is absolutely a joy to work with and I continue to call for advice as I work on our new home in Atlanta. I would not just recommend her . . . I would not build another home without her!

We've just completed a total renovation and expansion of a seventeen year old house located in Blue Ridge, GA, on Lake Blue Ridge. Including pre-construction design consultation, the project has taken a full 12 months. The results are phenomenal and we're very pleased! We could not have done this without the design and construction review services provided by Cindy Trimble at Studio Trimble. She took an aging lakeside bungalow and turned it into a contemporary "mountain modern" home with vast open areas, massive fireplace utilizing coronado stone, and a 40' long telescoping glass door that provides access to our deck overlooking the lake. In addition, she was sensitive to our budget and helped in many ways to keep the project affordable without sacrificing quality. She is great to work with!

Cindy Trimble isn't just a designer. She is an amazing person. Several years ago, she donated her time and talents to Second Wind Retreat, a non-profit free mountain retreat for cancer patients. She championed our cause in so many ways, and was even instrumental in connecting us with high quality, affordable kitchen, bathroom, flooring, furnishings and other resources. The result is a warm, inviting, relaxing environment that our cancer patient guests never fail to comment on.
