The 3D renderings, flyovers and interior walk-throughs the TiverBuilt team created for our custom home design have been a GODSEND in helping us understand how the home will actually look/feel. After deciding to expand and remodel our kitchen, we were stuck in a holding pattern. No novice to the business of renovation, I was understandably wary and didn’t know how to go about finding a reputable contractor, or even if we could accomplish our goals within our budget. She found an architect and assisted us in coming up with a workable design based on our needs. This was an investment I don’t regret. It meant that once we had buildable drawings and a computer-generated design to help me envision what it would look like, TiverBuilt was able to provide a detailed breakdown of estimated costs. This gave us the confidence to know we could move forward, and in the end, this process assured that there were few, if any surprises. After finding a contractor, we agreed on a realistic timeline, where construction goals were met within a realistic timeline. I would not have known to ask for any of the above without the guidance that TiverBuilt provided. It was a lot of work, but worth the time spent. When we actually broke ground, I felt I could relax, knowing I was in good hands! One of the most valuable aspects of TiverBuilt's service was that Lindsay and her team took the time to understand my personal style and vision. They never tried to “sell” me on anything. Instead, they educated me so that I could make informed choices. There were many times throughout the project when I felt overwhelmed by the number of decisions that needed to be made, and they were always willing and availabe to get me through the rough patches. Invariably, in any project of this magnitude, unforeseen things come-up which require problem solving and resolution. In our case, there was a structural issue that had to be dealt with and resolved quickly. Lindsay was immediately on top of it, marshaling the team, including the architect and contractor, to resolve the problem to our satisfaction. Now I have a kitchen I love.
