Excellent work. From simple themes they created a unique and beautiful design, iterated upon it until we were very happy, and then built and installed the gates. The design is a bonsai bougainvillea cut into thick steel. The gate moves very smoothly and feels great. At night, the light shines through and casts the design onto the street in front of our house. It's awesome and we have had neighbors come by and compliment it.

Ryan and his team designed a spectacular, rustic fence for my home in SE Austin. The guys were efficient and professional with my project and met my deadlines accordingly. They respected my property and were communicative about when they would arrive and called before leaving each day so i could close the garage. I would highly recommend these guys for your fencing or metal projects.

We contacted Metalworks of Austin to build a backyard cabana next to our new pool. Ryan worked with me on the initial design. The design captured the style we wanted at a reasonable cost. Ryan and I then worked out additional details that would facilitate the construction process (rafter tabs, electrical cut outs, etc). These extra details made it much easier to finish the entire project after the steel part of the project was completed. Ryan and his team showed on the scheduled date and completed the project within the time line that we had agreed upon. The crew was professional. The crew was very careful not to damage any of our newly created pool deck and cleaned up all construction related debris. Would I recommend Ryan and the crew from Metalworks of Austin? Yes I would. The attention to detail, the quality of work and the professionalism of the crew makes recommending them a no brainer. I would use them again in my own home for future metal related projects that we may have.

I met Ryan when he was working on repairs to the historic fence around the state capitol. At the time I was beginning a large project that included an addition to an existing garage, security gate and fence for my property. Ryan and his associates were helpful in working with me to design and execute the work over several years. This was a "sweat equity" project that I otherwise executed myself. Their timeliness, quality and value were evident throughout regardless of how mundane a detail was being considered. As an Architect it was a pleasure to work with Ryan and his talented staff. I hired Metalworks of Austin to build a carport. They were prompt, knowledgeable about the codes and creative. They built a very attractive, cool looking carport that is very functional and sturdy. I also hired them to make hand rails on back and front entrances and a matching trellis. Usually I'm a control freak but since they did such a good job I let them have free reign on the design. They are all artists in their spare time. A great group of dependable, curtious, talented guts.

I can highly recommend Metalworks of Austin. The guys did a beautiful job on my porch railing which turned out exactly as I had imagined. In addition, they were also able to complete a second, smaller welding task I presented. They took a reasonable amount of time and were extremely nice to work with.
