About Us

We are a designer and supplier of kitchen, bath, utility room, and den and office cabinetry, assisting alll our clients with the room color pallettes as they relate to cabinetry. We also offer consultations on designs for residential spaces, material and colour pallettes, and furniture placement. We supply, deliver and install cabinets on lower Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, and have been in business since 1989. We have an extensive list of references and some amazing letters discribing our work practises to share with you. We are passionate about great kitchens and love to cook, so we know what it takes to tackle your dream kitchen. Our prices are competitive and we think our service and product are second to none. We work with integrity, demonstrate creativity and give each of our clients our full attention. For quite a few consecutive years, we have show cased our kitchens in orgainized fall tours , helping tp raise funds for the Cowichan Music Festival Society. We invite you to give us a call.

Very disappointed......... Wouldn't use them again. Ended up In legal dispute which thankfully we won.....Countertop badly designed and ended up going to Island Cabinet's to solve the problem....

I hired Liz Van Essen of CaproCabinets to do a kitchen renovation that involved lowering and adapting existing oak cabinets and designing a centre island. Her excellent listening skills, innovative ideas, attention to detail and consistently high standards in completing the task made the results beyond our expectations. This renovation has withstood the test of time and I do not hesitate to recommend Liz VanEssen to others seeking high quality renovations.

Cabpro Cabinets did a complete renovation to our 1970's kitchen. Having a professional come in and plan the best way to utilize our space was the best money ever spent. we now have a kitchen that is beautiful and it is easy to work in as it is convenient. There are so many little details that Liz pointed out to us. Like using drawers instead of cupboards for out dishes. task lighting was placed exactly where we needed it. the kitchen flows well now and seems so much more spacious. We certainly have more counter space as well as shelving for storage. It is now a beautiful bright pleasant area to work in. Liz was always ready to answer any questions and listened to our concerns. A pleasant experience and a great result. I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future.

Liz Van Essen of Cabpro Cabinets designed and installed our new kitchen. She suggested that we had granite countertops, and light maple cabinets as the kitchen is at the back of the house and can be dark. Liz suggested an island which is fabulous and made our small kitchen seem much larger. We gained nine drawers and now everything is within reach of either stove, fridge and dishwasher. The design has made the kitchen, which is small 12 x 12 feet, seem large. I have plenty of room now. The granite is a real show stopper and was installed by Matrix Marble and Granite. I could not be more happy and satisfied with my new kitchen. Liz designed our last kitchen 23 year ago. We have been more than satisfied both times. Liz spent a lot of time with me picking out colours to make sure everything matched and it does. Many thanks to Liz.

Liz Van Essen of Cabpro Cabinets worked together with us over the course of 4 months as we completely rebuilt and reconfigured our house that was originally built by us in 1984. From the design of our amazing kitchen and 2 bathrooms to reconfiguring closets, co-ordinating wall colouring and flooring, we were finally able to move in to our beautifully re-designed home in February of the following year. Liz was always available to guide us along the way and I would certainly recommend her services. As well as our home, Liz has redesigned kitchens for my mother, a sister, and a daughter. We continue to enjoy entertaining our ever-growing family and many friends. Well done Liz!

When we had our house custom built we hired Cabpro to design & install the kitchen. We were very pleased with the functionality & also many extra touches. We have a shelf which lifts up out of a lower cupboard & on which you can place a Mixer or Food processor. Also another handy shelf where you can place your recipe to view while cooking it. We would not hesitate to recommend this Company either for a new kitchen or renovations.

Liz of Cabpro Cabinets did my home's kitchen, bathrooms and bar and I couldn't have been more pleased! Liz is extremely hardworking and very precise, all the while making the construction process as seamless as possible for her clients.
