Guchi Interior Design

We used Guchi Interior Design to remodel two of our old and dated bathrooms. They started with the Master bath...Turned out fantastic and everyone was very professional! Next was our guest bath... it was finished just as wonderfully as our Master! Can't wait to use Guchi Interior Design again! This time to remodel our kitchen in the near future!!!

Without a doubt, it was great having an experienced, knowledgeable and creative design team at Guchi Interiors to collaborate with in overseeing the design and implementation of the various projects in the remodeling of our home. The owners, Katherine and Bruce were always professional, patient and accommodating when changes, adjustments and additions to the original plans were requested. We were continually confident we could count on them to coordinate and closely monitor followthrough of the various subcontractor work according to plans. An excellent business to consider when renovating that treats your work project from beginning to the end as if it is their own.

Thanks to Houzz, I chose Guchi Design when I was searching Universal Design/curbless showers/wet room bathrooms. They took into account my wheelchair needs and did extra research with an occupational therapist. Everyone who works for them is professional and curious enough to create a spa-like to fit my needs and wants. I love reading in my zen retreat because the watery sconces, wavy white wall tiles and the pebbles in the niches and floor make me feel I’m at the cool river on a summery day!

We had our Master bath done. New gorgeous floors, removed tub for a beautiful walk in shower. Love it. Bruce and Kendall are so easy to work with. The trades were so nice. It looks amazing. Thank You!

We love our kitchen remodel! Katherine knew exactly the feel we were going for (even when WE weren't sure) and took us from traditional to transitional within budget while giving us a luxurious space to cook and entertain. Bruce was meticulous, and his crew clean and enjoyable to have in our home. We would definitely call Guchi Interior Design again.

Guchi Interior Design recently completed a remodel project for me and I could not be more pleased! The remodel turned out so beautifully I feel like I live in what I thought was only in magazines. From the design to completion Guchi was professional; what was a pleasant surprise is that there were no surprises. They were upfront and I knew what to expect. Alison really did a great job turning my ideas into reality. I highly recommend Guchi's entire staff!

One year ago, my husband chose GUCHI Design as a christmas gift for me. It was a risk that won! We own a 1914 Craftsman and I was VERY concerned that we would ruin the integrity of the charming craftsman style. The short version of this review ... Our complete kitchen remodel turned out AMAZING! The transformation astonishing!! It even won an award for BEST design (Thanks Allison) ! Bottom line use them they will not disappoint! If you like details read on....We met with their designer Allison and the owner Bruce. ( 2 days after christmas. what service) Allison is professional, knowledgeable (on point) and patient! She listened to all my concerns, wishes, desires and fears. She looked at my ideas and expressed her opinions . At EVERY moment, I felt validated, respected and heard! Fast forward, we are nearly a year in and 3 separate projects later. At every moment throughout the process(es) they were communicative, available and proactive! GUCHI also has the BEST contractors too! Designer Allison is a GEM, Rick the wood worker a true ARTIST, Johnny and Kevin can do ANYTHING and are fast and professional, painter Eric and crew, precise, everyone is simply the BEST in the field! Great owners will obtain and retain great contractors. Bruce is it! All this is not to say we did not come across issues of course we did, that is part of the process but what makes a situation positive is the way it is handled! I can say without question EVERYTHING was handled with care, concern and professionalism! Bottom line use GUCHI (ask for Alison too) it will be the BEST choice you ever make!

Guchi Interior Design under the leadership of Bruce Kawaguchi and the design inspiration of Katherine Kawaguchi continually produces projects that make their clients happy. I've seen more Guchi work than almost anyone who isn't employed by them as I do a large part of their photography and have been in dozens of their completed projects. The home owners I meet are thrilled with the changes in their homes and seem to welcome the Guchi people back into their homes like long time friends! What really impresses me is that I have visited the same homes a couple of times as the homeowners have hired Guchi to do additional projects after the first one was complete!

The entire Guchi Interior Design team did a terrific job from start to finish updating our home. They turned two boring bathrooms into beautiful and functional spaces. The finished bathroom’s turned out so nice that we had Guchi continue with updating our kitchen, flooring, laundry room, as well as they worked their magic in our backyard. Initially my Husband and I thought we could tackle all of these updates on our own, we shopped, we attended remodeling seminars, we visited home shows but we couldn’t agree on how to tackle all that needed to be done and how to pull it all together. We had an initial consultation with Katherine at Guchi Interior Design and she listened to what we wanted to accomplish, the problem areas of the house, and we showed her a single piece of quartz that we thought was nice. Katherine came back later that week and to our delight she had pulled to together the most beautiful design ideas and materials for each bathroom. She captured both of our styles and with products that would work for our family. I knew from the start this was the company we wanted to work with. Bruce acted as project manager and ensured everything was timed perfectly, the best people were always on the job, and the right parts were available when we needed them, we never had to worry because we knew Bruce was taking care of everything. The entire team of master craftsman that is Guchi Interior Design worked like a well-oiled machine, each took pride in the work that they did and all projects were finished on time. I need to make a special call out to James their tile specialist. The cuts, the corners, the finishing of each area that James tiled looks like a piece of art; James’ tile skill is par excellence. If I could give Guchi Interior Design 6 stars I would. We will certainly be going to Guchi again with our future design needs.

We had a fireplace mantel that needed a new look. Alison and the design team at Guchi Designs in Roseville were awesome. Bruce,James,Rick and Alex were great to work with. Professional,very knowledgeable, work quality is excellent. When we had some concerns about the paint we were not sure about the color Alison and Bruce said not a problem we will make it for work for you and it did. We are very happy . The new mantle gives our family a whole new look every day we just say WOW!! I would highly recommend Alison and Guchi Interior Designs to friends and family

Katherine Kawaguchi of Guchi Interior Design did a superb job for us renovating our master bath and kitchen. Her knowledge of her field is impressive, and her leadership in design was innovative and lovely. The construction phase was accomplished under the guidance of Bruce Kawaguchi whose experience working in all the trade made the work timely, within contracted costs, and efficiently. We will work with them exclusively on any future projects we may have.
