Creative Environments

Creative Environments did a complete overhaul of our backyard including: installing retaining walls, planting a lawn, building blue stone pathways and stairs, landscape architecture, and planting and irrigation. From start to finish the whole team was very responsive to our needs, and they clearly have very skilled craftsmen doing the work.They were also a pleasure to work with: if any issues came up during the project, they were always quick to address it and make it right. All in all, they did a really nice job and we are very happy.

I have major renovations going on both inside and outside my home in Sonoma CA. In addition, I spent many years in the commercial construction industry, thus I have years of experience with comparing and contrasting and choosing subcontractors. I was immediately struck by how different C.E. handles their business relationships as shortly before my project started the owner himself called me directly to introduce himself, to thank me for choosing his company and to assure me that I could contact him directly with any issues throughout the project. There were no issues except for some bad weather that caused delays. But each and every day the masonry crew would show up... EARLY. They'd check in with me with a cheerful hello and then immediately get down to business. The result was some absolutely gorgeous truly hand crafted stonework. I live in a fairly urban area, and anyone walking by my home immediately notices the quality and beauty of the work C.E. accomplished. And... to no surprise... I did a lot of research prior to selecting a company and Creative Environments stood out. I wanted a company with a great reputation, no complaints and that could handle all phases of my property renovation. We also had a requirement that they have excellent connections for any other service that we needed so the people working for us have worked together before. We started with bare land in April, 2013 and with Creative Environments we have transformed "the old junk yard" into our dream retreat. We have all new electricity from the new utility pole, under ground lines to the new service boxes. We've created a new water system from scratch and now have 10,000 gallons storage. With the owner's, Harry North, help we have built a new house with a swimming pool. They coordinated the contractor and pool company then added flag stone patios. They up graded our drip system and repaired it's problems. The final project is the new entry with automatic gates. One of our best enjoyments is seeing people come around the corner, slow down and stare with their mouths open. (The property was that bad.) I'll always be grateful to Creative Environments for all they have done but especially for one thing in particular. When my now wife wouldn't budge about getting married on the property they performed a miracle. We had patio and seating for 225 guests, out door lights, a grand entrance and plenty of space. We had Creative Environments work on two large landscaping/building projects for us and they are also our weekly yard maintenance. The two large projects exceeded our expectations! We worked closely with Creative in collaborating on the design of the projects (an outdoor kitchen/patio space and bocce/games area). Together with the Creative team we were able to build areas we love and use all the time. For our weekly yard maintenance, we have a team we can totally trust; they help us with water management, re-plantings and general maintenance. They have an attention to all the little details and ensure that our yard looks well-kept. They treat it like their own. Whether it is a huge project or weekly maintenance, Creative is a fantastic choice!
