To sum up this review, my experience with Richard and team at Executive Contracting was excellent. Background (because it's tough to find a good contractor) - It was the spring and I was with a friend who mentioned that he was having a tree and some plants added to accent his new patio that was installed the previous fall. We went to check it out. When we got there Richard explained how the stairs had shifted over the winter (new build) and not to worry he took care of it. He fixed the issue, added some support and best of all no charge. My friend didn't even know there was an issue. I thought at the time, this is someone who does quality work and takes pride in knowing it's done correctly. I need his business card. Project Planning - I contacted Executive Contracting, and had Richard come out to the house to see what I was planning. Richard made some suggestions based on the local bylaws that both my wife and I thought were as good or better than our original plan. We were also happy that Richard considered our budget when make his suggestions. Executive Contracting was not the cheapest quote but they were far from the most expensive and having seen a couple previous jobs, we had a level of trust that we didn't have in the other quotes we considered. Result - It was absolutely fantastic to be able to come home each day, see the progress and have it be exactly the way you hoped it would be when you envisioned it. I did ask for a couple of modifications on the fly that Richard was happy to accommodate. He was also quick to point out that he was on actually below budget and it was me that was over budget. :) In the end, the project was complete inline with the original quote, on time and everyone was happy with the result. Richard completely reno'ed our main bathroom recently and we couldn't be happier -- professional results with a personal touch! His commitment to the job, excellent knowledge and problem-solving skills, and sound advice when making decisions all mean we've found our go-to contractor for future projects. :)

We had several large armour stone steps that sunk and needed to be leveled with our patio. Richard at Executive Contracting did a great job leveling our steps. I have used Executive Contracting for 2 projects now (driveway and back patio). Both turned out fantastic!
