Lanoha Nurseries

We’ve been Lanoha customers since moving to Elkhorn a few years ago and have now purchased over 50 trees from them—and counting. From ornamental flowers and shrubs to landscaping supplies, indoor decor, and our favorite: trees, Lanoha has it all and their selection is great. Their grounds are so expansive it feels like a field trip every time we go. Our five-year-old loves exploring the property and searching for Fab, the resident cat. You can even bring your dog to walk around with you. Sometimes we stumble upon the wild turkeys who wander the grounds. Everyone we’ve worked with in tree sales has been exceptional—including (but not limited to) Kyanne, Eija, Steve, Madalyn, Kristin, and Zach. Their knowledge and patience make the whole experience easy and fun. At checkout, Sela and the front staff are always friendly and efficient. And when it comes to installation, Zachariah and his team are professional, courteous, and meticulous. Coordinating it all is Helen, who is nothing short of amazing. She’s responsive, thoughtful, and truly stands behind the trees they sell—if something isn’t thriving, she’ll help troubleshoot or replace it if needed. Prices are good, especially considering the quality and service you get. A lot of the ball and burlap trees have a planting fee included in the price. We’re grateful to have a place like this in Omaha. Highly recommend.

Ambrust Acres 168 th and Oak Street had 3 Bakeri Spruce 8 feet tall with 36 balls delivered and planted. I could not be happier with the outcome!!!! Thanks to the crew, the selling staff and , of course, Helen of Horticulture! Douglas Halvorson

This summer we hired Lanoha to repair and complete a substandard job performed by a smaller nursery outside of Lincoln. Our designer, Samantha Johnson, was amazing! Samantha and the entire Lanoha crew worked to repair what had been done improperly and suggested remedies to address ongoing water/drainage issues. Lanoha has stood by their products and plants and despite the job being complete, they continue to be available for questions. By far, this is one of the best companies out there for skill, knowledge and customer service.

We had a difficult landscape project that involved water diversion around our site and designing a Colorado foothills look. Tough to do without mountains in the back ground! But JT Savoie and his crew did an outstanding job and we are completely satisfied. They have also been good about coming back for project touchups and some replacements. Would highly recommend.

Pat Wood helped me to create the landscape design I always wanted but never managed to achieve on my own. Pat is a good listener. He takes your ideas and incorporates them with his expertise and knowledge. The end result is the backyard I have always dreamed of!

We worked with Patrick Wood a very good designer from Lanoha Nursery. He provided a design and was very easy to work with.He completed the job in a very timely manor and the install crew was great. We have used Pat on a couple of small jobs since last fall. We would highly recommend him.

Professional and likable supervisors on job. Ran into some difficulties (not with Lanoha) and everyone on the job was flexible and had no issues problem solving to come up with better ideas. All in all, I have been totally impressed with Pat Wood and his crew. Came in under estimates, despite some hitches in the plans.

We used Lanoha Nurseries to come up with a landscape design for our new home. Lanoha came up with a great plan that matched the contemporary design of our home. We love the use of different materials (stone, cement, mulch, rock, etc) along with the plant and tree selections. Lanoha did a great job staying within our budget as well. Pat Wood created a landscape plan that complimented the lines and design of the house while being sensitive to the budget. Pat is a true professional, he is responsive and always follows through on what he says he will do. I constantly receive compliments on my landscaping and couldn’t be happier with what Pat has created. I had one tree that wasn't doing very well. Without hesitation Pat and Lanoha replaced it. The prices are reasonable and the staff at the store is very knowledgeable and friendly.

As an Interior designer I have enjoyed working with Pam Johnsen on numerous occasions and for both large and small projects. Her background and education in Interior design and Architecture have built a strong foundation for her current profession. She brings to the table the unique perspective of a landscape architect while keeping in mind what is going on inside the house and how it all relates to the complete design. I appreciate her interest in our overall vision and how her portion ties into that. In addition to that her teams skills in hardscaping, landscaping, plantings and service follow up make Lanohas a part of our team that we value and would recommend to anyone! We had John Brommer do an updated landscape design of our front and back yards. We gave him a budget that we would like to try to stay within, which was not a problem. He incorporated existing landscape where he could and still have it look good. The installation crew was a lead installer with 2 helpers. They did an excellent job and really worked hard at getting everything in the right place and how we wanted it. They really kept their nose to the grindstone in getting everything done, in fact we told them a couple of times they really needed to take a break. We are very pleased with the overall result; and especially pleased with the installation crew and the ease of working with John!! I would highly recommend John as a designer; our only regret is that we did not do this sooner.

We recently moved here from Colorado however we are Omaha natives so we know the Lanoha name and their excellent reputation. Our designer John listened to our ideas and included them in the plan which was important to us. He was also very patient with us, as we thouroughly evaluated our wants and needs for the best design. Now our landscaping is complete; beautiful, and easily maintained. It has changed the look of our home for the better.
