Structure Landscapes

Very glad we used Structure Landscapes to design and install our back yard landscaping after we had a pool installed. The back yard after pool install was completely unusable and our backyard had a fairly aggressive slope by one end of the pool. Sam at Structure came out and immediately had a vision of how we could regrade the area and design the perfect landscaping. He was calm, had great communication, and very detail oriented in the quote. After hiring them, their crew did a ton of work for about 2 weeks regarding and installing all the new landscaping. The crew was great, and they worked extremely hard to get the job done. They cleaned up after themselves every day and were very respectful. The final product was beyond expectations, and we felt like we got great value out of service at a great price for all the work. We highly recommend Structure Landscapes if you are considering doing a project. Great price, hard work, and easy to work with on creating the project.

In January 2020 we purchased a new home in Barton Creek. Our garden was installed by Structures Landscape's prior to purchasing and Sam has been invaluable to us ever since. The landscape is drought friendly from native plants like Mountain Laurels, Persimmons, grasses and yaupons to attractive pineapple guava and silver ponyfoot. Sam built rock walls around the property from rock that came from the property. I couldn't be more thrilled with the aesthetic appeal to the property from the walls, planting and lighting. Since we have owned our new home Sam took time out of his busy schedule to take me to a tree farm so that we could hand pick oaks that would perfectly fit in the spaces we wanted to fill. Sam loves what he does and takes pride in his design and layout and when the weather started to heat up he would alert me so that I could contact the garden maintenance company to increase watering. Our house guests and neighbors have commented on the beautiful landscape and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Structure Landscapes for their professional unique approach to their projects.

Structure Landscapes did a great install for us and was professional & reliable throughout our project. They were experienced and knowledgeable in every aspect of the work--grading, terracing, stone work, metal work, stairs, planting, irrigation, drainage, outdoor lighting--and finished in a timely manner with beautiful results. The plantings were warrantied, and when a couple of trees died, they came out immediately to replace them. They also were able to steer us toward cost-effective solutions and delivered exactly what they promised. We will definitely work with them again if a need arises.

Structure Landscapes did a phenomenal job with our project! We met with Structure with a plan in hand. Sam and Dean had additional thoughts and ideas to enhance our own vision as well as reasonable pricing. We found them to be incredibly honest and professional during this entire process and we did quite a bit. The process took several months due to the scale. We excavated into a hill for a front patio with a board-form concrete retaining wall, extensive concrete steps leading uphill to a new parking area at the street level, sight drainage, water feature, irrigation, landscape lighting, stone retaining walls in necessary areas, as well as landscaping. They are very knowledgable regarding plant solutions, guiding us on plantings for privacy, erosion, deer resistant choices and of course, beauty. Work ethic is strong. The Structure team arrived at our home on time each morning ready to go. They are friendly and hardworking. I also appreciated that they cleaned up at the end of each day. Final product is more than we dreamed. We love our front yard space! We plan to work with them soon on our backyard.

Excellent landscape and irrigation design techniques, very competent and efficient installation staff, and extremely responsive to customer questions and/or issues. I threw a ton of ideas and Pinterest pins at them and they transformed my "nothing" backyard into a wonderland! Patios, stone and log paths, stone benches, built in BBQ with bar, outside lighting... even a splash-pad! It was a HUGE job and the main bulk of the work proceeded very quickly (3ish weeks). The on site guys were friendly and skilled. The owners (Dean and Sam) were a pleasure to work with and we managed to navigate the occasional issue that can arise with such a large project. Some of the loose ends took a little while to get tied up, but that was often due to outside circumstances like 3rd party orders or rain. They were also incredibly accommodating when some parts didn't turn out quite how I'd expected and changed them at no extra cost. Highly recommended!!! :)

These guys are the BEST! Their crews came on time and worked hard all day. They cleaned up after themselves everyday before they left our property. There was no loud music or loud phone conversations while they worked - or at any time. Very professional! Sam and Dean are wonderful truly Christian men and were delightful to work with. They met all our needs and answered all our questions. Our son also used this company - that's how we heard about them.

Structure Landscapes was referred to me while I was constructing a new custom home. My primary requirement was to work with someone who had great design aesthetics. I was impressed by the vision that Structure Landscape had for my space. This vision was supported by a well thought out plan which included detailed recommendations for various design elements. The initial cost was higher than my budget but I was able to work with Sam to scale back the project to bring the cost down. Once the project started, Sam kept me up to speed on progress. During the execution, he had some suggestions to enhance the look and feel of my space. Sam consulted with me and we made these changes on the fly. I appreciated working with someone who acted like a partner in my project. A few months after my project was completed, my landscaping required some minor tweaking and Sam was open to coming over to help me out. I would highly recommend Structure Landscapes.

We interviewed three different landscapers and decided to use Sam because we felt he was most upfront and honest about what should be done and why. He was not the least expensive or the most expensive...the quality/professionalism you get for the work was phenomenal and well worth the extra expense. After we were done with our project we can tell you that he was all that we initially thought and then some. Sam did a remodel of 1.1 acres for us. He kept a lot of what we had and enhanced our yard with landscaping, hardscaping, and retaining walls to help us deal with water erosion issues, privacy, and maximizing the yard space for our girls to play in. He also fixed our fountain and sprinkler system. He was really great at honing in on our most important needs and then made some really great suggestions on how to improve esthetics and functionality. His crew was most professional and neat. They're a really hard working bunch of guys that seem to really enjoy working on their craft. They never left any unseemly messes and were most courteous.When I look at my yard now, it makes me smile. I got exactly what I wanted and then some. Sam is a really professional and nice guy who really enjoys his work and takes great care of his clients. In fact, Sam went above the call of duty when we had an emergency water main leak at our house (unrelated to landscaping). Some of his crew were in town and available to help us dig and find the leak so we could quickly get it fixed to get water back in the house. Without his help we would have been without water for two weeks! We are so happy to have found him and refer him to anyone looking for a great Landscaping experience!

After engaging several landscaping companies and spending thousands of dollars that resulted in modest and disappointing outcomes at best, we contacted Structure Landscapes for our most recent landscape needs. Our inquiry was answered by Sam Walton the same day and we set an appointment on site within a couple of days. Sam was on time, pleasant, knowledgeable and shared some great ideas. Our numerous questions were answered within hours, whether we called or emailed. Sam then provided us a proposal with several different options and suggested we go to the nursery to view the plants and trees we were interested in planting. This process was extremely helpful in deciding what plants we liked and the size we would be planting. We accepted Structure Landscapes’ bid. They were on time, courteous, and professional. The outcome of the final product was beyond our expectations. Sam continues to follow up with us on our project. We will be engaging Structure Landscapes on more projects in the near future and would highly recommend them (and have) to anyone looking for quality, straight-forwardness and beautiful landscaping!
