Mike and the entire crew at Wollaston Development were excellent to work with for my project to build a custom bluestone patio, including stair work, drainage solutions, and leveling. From the start of the consultation process, Mike showed he was incredibly knowledgeable but not rigid, listening to my ideas and coming up with creative solutions that meet my aesthetic criteria and budget. During the build, his team was incredibly professional, always showed up on time, provided me with walkthroughs and updates, and kept the project as tidy as possible at the end of the day. Mike also was very true to budget and exceeded expectations on the speed of the project. Whether you are looking to fully outsource design or partner with someone to achieve a specific vision, I would highly recommend hiring Wollaston and definitely plan to work with Mike again in the future.

We worked closely with Mike and Wollaston to transform our unfinished back yard space into our dream space. Throughout the process, Mike listened to our hopes and ideas, proposed thoughtful and creative options, and helped us settle on great choices from the hard scaping down to the sod choice. Working with Mike was a top notch experience, with high attention to detail, constant touch points, excellent responsiveness, complete flexibility for minor adjustments along the way as we thought of new things, and complete transparency on costs. We even got to go shopping for plants together. Now, instead of a raw space, we have our own little universe custom fit to our needs. We wanted to keep the majority of the space as open grass, for young kids to play, but we also wanted spaces for dining and lounging and new spaces for planting, all in a modest-sized yard. With Mike's help, we landed on a beautiful natural cleft, full color bluestone for hardscaping that curves around the house to create a natural, unique feel, irrigation to minimize manual upkeep on the lawn, electrical outlet access exactly where we want it, and spaces carved out for a sectional outdoor couch and a new tree. When I look at it, I'm just extremely pleased and grateful to have this yard where we just had patchy grass before. Work was done in good time and on budget. As a bonus, all of the folks Wollaston brought in to help with the project were wonderful as well. We'll be calling Mike and Wollaston for future projects and recommending him to friends.

Mike and his team did an awesome job for us. We compared many companies and many quotes and Mike was definitely the guy who most seemed willing to work with us on budget and still get us the finish we wanted. And they did not disappoint. All his guys are great; Hardworking, honest and pleasant to have on your property. Mike himself stopped by almost every day and always took time to talk through with me any changes or finishes. We had Wollaston do both hardscape: driveway and patio and the grass and plantings. When the job was finished almost every neighbor (and I few strangers on the street) stopped us to tell us how absolutely beautiful it is!

We had an excellent experience working with Wollaston. Wollaston installed three drywells, irrigation, garden beds, lawn, shrubs, tree, lighting, etc. We began working with Mike early on to develop and shape our landscaping ideas for our home. Mike made great recommendations, provided guidance on vegetation, and easily handled changes along the way. The entire Wollaston team was super professional. Mike called all around and even drove way out west to find our tree. Our yard looks amazing. Highly recommend!

We needed to rip out our small front and back yards and replace the plants with pet-friendly, drought tolerant plantings. Mike and his crew did a highly professional, beautiful, and timely job, and they even made up for time lost to an unexpected, monsoon-like downpour. They worked within our budget and were willing to phase the project if need be. I was impressed with the design suggestions, which were tailored to our aesthetic and the way we use our yards. From plant selection to installation and cleanup, this was a rare time in our almost 30 years of homeownership that a job felt like a HGTV makeover. I highly recommend this company for their quality service and would use them again in a heartbeat.

WD helped to make our backyard built-in grill and double firepit a reality. The guys on-site kept things clean, moving forward, and were always so pleasant to be around. They set the bar high in terms of standards and were adaptable as we added on / changed parts of the scope of work. Highly recommend.
