Commented: Help..Boring paint Scheme..Need to paint upper floor before new roofI would warm up the color on the upper level (perhaps a deep red). Adding a warm butterscotch to the body and a bright, creamy white trim would be gorgeous.

Commented: Trim: To paint or not to paint? Does a mixed look (paint & stain)work?Mixing colors and textures is a great way to add interest to a room. Don't be afraid to mix stain and paint (natural wood and painted surfaces).
