Carlina became almost an extension of the family during my parents downsizing. Carlina was an absolute delight to work with! Working with Carlina was my first experience with a design consultant and she assisted me with space planning, selecting paint/wall paper and furniture selections. She has an impeccable eye for pulling colors/fabrics, furniture and layout together in a way that creates a beautiful space. My comment to her was "what sorcery is this?!" when she presented me with options for my home. I also appreciated all of her advice regarding furniture and space planning - I made many different decisions based on her sage advice and her advice saved me some future regrets. Lastly, she was extremely flexible with the compensation model - making sure I was getting the best bang for my buck. I highly recommend Carlina to anyone considering this service - you will NOT be disappointed!

CCdesign took my sister’s small space, furniture pieces that she wanted to keep and made a design plan that made the space seem so much larger. I thought I had a great plan in my head but quickly realized that a professional had knowledge and design flair that really made the difference . Working with Carlina was an absolute delight! My house looks fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the end result. From the very beginning, Carlina took the time to listen to what I wanted and worked within my budget. The entire project, which included the living room, family room, three bedrooms, dining room, and an office, took around 8 months to complete, and communication was always clear. I had a specific vision for my office—I wanted it to be a space where I felt inspired and could spend my days comfortably. Let me tell you, my office is now an absolute heaven! It's beautiful, inspiring, calm, classy, and so comfortable. It exceeded my expectations in every way. In a couple of years, I'm already looking forward to tackling my basement with Carlina. Carlina helped us design a new kitchen and bar. She helped us determine our priorities and worked within our specifications. We worked on work flow and key design elements, even suggesting a few special elements. She helped us with tile, flooring and lighting selections as well.

I typically contract her to help develop wall display concepts, provide material and finish selections, finalize floor plan and lighting layouts, as well as coordinate and set up CAD drawings with the project Architects and Engineers.

Working with Carlina was great. She was quite knowledgeable about the right type of furniture and dimension required for our space. She was very strategic in helping us ensure we focused our budget on the items and spaces that makes more impact. She was very attentive and responsive in regards to any questions I had and was able to use her contacts to assist with creating custom pieces to bring the space to life. Two Bedroom Condo Renovation

CCdesign Partnerships was very helpful with finding a good contractor to complete our condo renovation. In this market, where it is very hard to find a contractor, she came through for us. She provided us with great suggestions for flooring, bathroom and kitchen accessories, cabinetry and paint colors. All the selections provided matched well together to update the condo to reflect today's home trends. She set up appointments with the vendors and contractors to get things expedited in a timely manner. She was a great help when we had a problem with our countertop supplier. Her tenacity helped push for a better product install and customer satisfaction. Her connections to different vendors was helpful in our decision process for selecting new cabinetry, flooring and countertops. I would highly recommend her, if you are looking to update your home/condo. Her attention to current trends and style are definitely strengths CCdesign Partnerships has to offer to best suit your needs.

We have had the pleasure of working with Carlina Chan in our recent extensive home renovations which we accomplished in 3 major stages over a period of 2 years. Carlina spent the time to find out about our needs, wants, and kept in mind our plans to remain in the home indefinitely. She took an older 2 1/2 storey home with 3 small bedrooms, minimal functional storage, low ceilings, dark rooms and created a very attractive, modern high ceiling, bright, 2 bedroom home with bountiful creative storage areas, inviting kitchen and functional areas! She gave us thoughtful, detailed and visual plans to help us see what we were going to get, which allowed us to see where certain areas could be tweaked to suit us even more. We were impressed with her plans to transform our home to include more functional space, increased storage, beautiful bathrooms and brightening the home with her detailed lighting designs that included both natural and artificial sources. As my husband and I lack in the creative department, she was fantastic at helping us co-ordinate eye catching tiles, colours for the walls, baseboards, woodwork, countertops, right down to the attractive chrome door pulls! We were thrilled as we had all the perks of a new home without having to move. We highly recommend Carlina to help you tackle the enormous task of doing a renovation right and achieving the change you will love!

Carlina assisted me with the redesign of my kitchen and ensuite bath along with selecting new carpet and paint colors throughout the house. She worked with me on the kitchen design/layout, including cabinet design and placement, colors, selection of materials, along with the plumbing, light and other fixtures. She worked with me to develop what I was looking for despite the fact that my ideas were all very general in nature and she was able to refine them into the final product. Carlina has a very good sense of space and light and an excellent eye for colours and textures. In addition to the foregoing she always provided me options for consideration as well as price comparisons so I would have a good idea of the financial commitment that I would be making and took care of ordering all cabinetry, stone, tile and fixtures. She also coordinated all installations within the contractor and as i was out of town during the renovation, kept me apprised of the status of the project including work in progress photos. In short, the services she provided were excellent.
