Phancy Design, Inc - Turnkey Renovations

Tracy and her team were outstanding from beginning to end. They helped us plan our project and made it come true! Communication was always easy; her suggestions were great and we are so happy with our new basement. The entire team was excellent and it’s like we miss them after having spent a couple weeks in our home with us! We would recommend them without hesitation! Thank you :)

Tracy and her team go above and beyond every time. They worked around my last minute changes and add ons, my 4 kids, hubby and myself being around while they worked and yet completed the job in 1/3 of the time I had assumed it would take! Her staff is a joy to be around and we’re so clean at the end of the day it was hard to see that we had construction taking place most days. We are going to miss them in our home and can not wait for our next project. I would have never guessed our basement would be where everyone wants to be but they created such a beautiful warm space that’s the only place we want to be!

Unlike so many contractors, this team is always there on time and will come by almost instantly to fix any small problem. They were excellent! Would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone. Thanks Stéphane, Chris and the whole team!

Well ... we selected Phancy Design for our first contract, two years ago, based mainly on the positive reviews on this website. Everything was initially ok ... until money were collected, than things slowed down.... Two years later our contract it is still not completed with several issues to be addressed, waiting and hoping for a friendly resolution in the coming days Will decide the rating and provide details and photos soon. (project completion date does not allow an empty field, we consider our project not completed to our satisfaction at this stage) (one star was given due to site limitation , Submit button remains greyed out without one star selected)

Phancy Design renovated two bathrooms in our home, one a complete gutting and one partial. Tracy’s design ideas seemed clairvoyant - I think she was in my head! Stephane and Chris and John did amazing work. The quality of execution was superb. They were at all times professional, friendly, respectful and amazingly clean and tidy. Chris does excellent tile work and the materials selected were all perfectly chosen and high quality. I am already planning my next reno with Phancy in mind! Thank you all so much!

We hired Phancy Design after reading the great reviews on Houzz. Right at the first meeting we saw how much they listened to our needs and able to answer our many questions. They were so helpful in choosing the different materials and proposed great suggestions along the way. Even when some little problems surfaced, they were always patient and proposed solutions. The crew is pleasant, very respectful and they always leave the place very clean even during construction. Tracy was so helpful in selecting pieces of furniture and decoration, which saved us lots of time and Stéphane was making sure all was going according to plan. I would not hesitate recommending them for renovation projects as they are reliable and trustworthy. We had so much fun working with Phancy Design. Thank you Tracy and Stéphane for making this so easy with a great final result.

If I could give Phancy Design 10 stars I would! Tracy and her entire team are the most professional, knowledgable, honest contractors I have ever dealt with. I never thought that renovating could be so stress free. Tracy was constantly providing updates or advising of any problems (which were swiftly solved). Tracy's suggestions for design were spot on and each room turned out better than we could have ever dreamed ! Even when we kept adding things to be done or changing things along the way (which meant extending the timeline) we were never told no or made to feel we were annoying. The crew was so friendly, respectful and clean. We will definitely be using Phancy Design's services again and recommend anyone who looking for a contractor to call Tracy and Stephane.

Our experience with Phancy Design was great. My spouse and I had the original hard wood floors (second floor) of our century-old home ripped out and replaced (also with hard wood) by Tracy and Stephane's team. The renovation presented challenges given the age of the house and Phancy Design did an impeccable job. Their work was expert. Communication was clear and direct from the start, and remained as such until the end. The workers were punctual, polite, happy, and careful. I have no complaint and I am cursed with unrelenting standards! We will certainly call on them to redo the floors on our main level.

We are very happy to be writing this 5 star review today as we had a feeling we would be writing it when we hired Phancy Design to renovate our basement back in September (given how many great reviews they already have)! Living in renovations is never easy and Phancy Design made our basement renovation work go un-noticed, and by that we mean, they were SO CLEAN that all we really noticed at the end of each day was the basement getting prettier and prettier!!! From the start Tracy and Stephane were extremely knowledgable and competent. They were honest and caring throughout every stage of the renovation and a complete delight to meet with. If ever something came up their team would check things with us first. Honestly, having them in our home every day was an absolute breeze. All of their workers were polite and professional. The renovation was not rushed and was done correctly from the beginning stage all the way until the finishing touches. At the start Tracy mentioned to us that our renovation would be turn-key and that it was! We were so excited to see the finished result and it was worth the wait and every penny. We wish we would have been able to hire Phancy Design when we renovated our first two floors this summer as we probably would have had a much better experience!!! We HIGHLY recommend hiring Phancy Design for ANY renovation project and don't wait too long before contacting them!! The demand for renovations is high and they are one of the few companies who do a spectacular job (we would know as we've been around the block this year with renovating our entire house)!. Tracy and Stephane, thank you again for the great experience and making our basement look nicer than the rest of our house Haha!!!
