We are new to the area and needed lots of help with the house we purchased. We are so glad we found Carol as her guidance and expertise were invaluable. We ended up doing a complete house remodel and she helped us with every aspect of it. She gave us recommendations for contractor, painter, flooring installation, carpet, tile, etc. and they were all good. She took the time to go furniture, light and plumbing fixture shopping with me and had great ideas on everything. In addition to house related assistance, she continually shared local recommendations for the services you need to find when you come to a new area. Carol is warm, helpful, responsive, has great taste and really listens to what you’re looking for. We would never have ended up with the house we love without Carol’s involvement.

Carol has been exactly who we needed, and more. We recently moved to Asheville and although we had had downsized considerably, we didn't have all the right pieces for our new home. We brought a piece of furniture for our great room that we suspected wouldn't work, and we were right. We also have two additional spaces in this house that we hadn't decided how to use. After our iniitial visit with Carol, we had a game plan and were delighted with her decisiveness, forthright opinions (always delivered gently and with such charm), and creativity. She suggested where to shop and met us there. We were able to accomplish most of our to-do list in a single shopping trip, and she navigated us well and found gems we would never have spotted. The same was true for subsequent trips. We are absolutely delighted with how our space looks, and Carol made the process so enjoyable. She came to direct the placement of the furniture when it was delivered, and helped us place our wall art/photos and home decor for just the right touch. She isn't shy to say when she doesn't like something, but she always asks if the piece is meaningful and needs to be displayed. She is a great resource for where to find what you're looking for, and she has developed wonderful relationships with the people in those places. That speaks to her professionalism and warmth, both of which we enjoyed in abundance.

Carol is a perfect combination of highly skilled and personable. She helped me cut through all the overwhelming decisions and figure out what would work best for my goals. She’s also fun!

I have been furnishing a house from scratch over the past year and was stuck at a few areas. Carol came out for a consultation and in one hour got me unstuck and moving forward again. She looked at what we have and was able to point out what we did and didn't need to make the rooms I was having trouble with work. In addition, she connected me with the local suppliers I needed and helped me choose the perfect pieces that brought the rooms together. Very easy to work with, Carol is a delightful person who really listened to what I wanted and used her design expertise to help me express that in the decor.

Carol provided me a one hour consultation for my airbnb. I was just getting started and her input really impacted the final outcome in a beautiful way. I get tons of compliments on the place and her suggestions were instrumental in making that happen. Thanks Carol!

We just moved into a new home in Asheville and wanted to keep elements from our previous homes. Carol came out and worked with us suggesting what items could be updated and worked into the new space. She also made suggestion for new items to purchase including a pair of swivel chairs that would allow us some flexibility in our great room space. For items that were being reupholstered, she helped out with fabric selections, as well as the selections of coordinating rugs and paint. Since decorating is not a skill that comes easily for me, Carol was a real confidence builder and a stress reliever!

We bought a 20 year home in Asheville and since we're moving from Texas, we wanted to update it before moving. I'm so glad I found Carol! She has been essential during this process. She helped with picking colors, tile, bathroom faucets, light fixtures, flooring and furniture. The contractors she works have done a fantastic job. Carol is fun, creative, professional and a delight to be around. We really do appreciate her assistance! It's difficult to do this kind of project 1000 miles away, but she made it go smoother.

Working with Carol is such a joy! She is a wonderful decorator and a genius with color and style. She inspired me to step out of my comfort zone of feeling like everything needs to match and really helped me to use a variety of styles and patterns. I can't stop gushing about how much better my house looks! I would recommend Carol to anyone and my suggestion would be to take her advise, you won't be disappointed!

Can not say enough about how terrific Carol is. She had me when she walked in with a tape measure! Carol listens, makes suggestions and does an outstanding job. She oversaw several projects for us in addition to helping us pick furniture, choose colors and make our condo beautiful. She stays on top of all aspects of a project and keeps you updated along the way. This was important to us as we were in Florida while she was working on our downtown Asheville condo. My only regret is we ran out of things for Carol to do. I highly, highly recommend this talented and lovely lady,

Carol did a great job working with us on a newly built home. We were coming from out of state to further complicate the process. Carol was enormously helpful in selecting paint colors, window treatments and furnishings. We were not in town when the last furniture pieces arrived. Carol worked with the delivery and placed everything for us. When I saw it, I thought ‘that works so well; it didn’t occur to me to arrange it that way.’ Carol listened and understood what we wanted even when we didn’t fully understand it ourselves.

Imagine moving to a one and a half acre lot with home dated from 1983 when COVID began. Carol dove in and created our dream home. The home needed love and looked dated. The yard had ants, moles, grubs too. Carol realized our needs and put together a comfortable amazing home.
