Janet Polluoli-Vallin is the best thing that has ever happened to our yard! She and her wonderful team of experts have transformed our space into a place we are proud of; we have never enjoyed our yard so much! She designed and completed our front yard in 2020; we had her back in 2022 to redesign our backyard! We can't say enough about her professionalism, honesty, knowledge and friendliness! Communication was perfect; Janet was always responsive to our questions and everything was completed in a timely manner. She kept us apprised of weekly progress and expectations (our "homework" in regards to decisions we needed to make!). She was helpful when it came to plants, sod, cobblestone, lighting and artificial turf selection. It's great to have all watering--including pots--on a drip system and timer! We highly recommend Janet for any landscaping project. We cannot say enough good things about her, both professionally and personally!

Finding a great landscape contractor is not easy. We had a complicated project, and it took a while before we found Janet, Martin, and Belle Terre. In hindsight, it was completely worth the wait. Janet met with us and was on point about what would be needed to make our project a reality. Her care for her team, us, and the project, and yes, in that order, made her very trustworthy. That was important as we asked for and received her opinions on different things that were always on point and greatly improved the useability and esthetics of our project. Her communication was excellent, and she provided at least weekly emails to make sure we were always on the same page. She guided us and offered us to make choices so that the project moved forward and we were still in control. Martin, her right-hand man, is a great addition to her team as he was always there to show and lead the project. They brought an attention to detail that made a big difference as the devil is often in the details. Both Janet and Martin were constantly working with us to make sure that we were happy with every step along the way with what it was going to look like. We did have a few delays because of the supply shortage, and she was always upfront, and we never felt we didn't know what was going on. Last but certainly not least, her knowledge, passion, and eye for identifying, placing, and planting the variety of plants that would suit our style and neighborhood was incredible. In short, my wife and I were so happy that we found Janet, Martin, and Belle Terre, and if you are considering a landscaping project, you would highly benefit from bringing them on board. We can highly recommend her and have already referred her to a few of our good friends. Thank you, Janet!

Janet and her team are superb. As the GC on a project Janet did some much needed value engineering as the Landscape Architect drew a plan way over my client's budget (which was revealed up front). I needed someone who was creative and a problem solver, with an eye on how to save dollars so we could bring in a project within my client's financial constraints. We interviewed 5 landscape contractors and chose Belle Terre. They were prompt, left the job site clean and did an amazing job. My client is VERY happy and Janet made me look good!! Look, if you want someone who will listen to what YOU want, hire these folks! I can't say enough good things about them.

What a pleasure to work with Janet and her entire crew at Belle Terre! If only I had more money right now to pay them to finish the rest of the yard! Our property presented very unique challenges -- a steep slope and driveway, large natural boulders, and working with and around existing hardscape & softscape. We had a plan drawn up by a landscape architect and Janet was quick to study and thoroughly understand it. Because of her experience and expertise, she identified areas of the plan that would be challenging to build out and was able to offer suggestions for options that would still work and achieve the overall look and feel we wanted. Our project included fixing drainage and erosion issues, building new retaining walls in our slope and stairs, building a stucco wall to enclose our side patio, installing a new paved entry area and side patio, adding enhanced lighting, installing a decomposed granite walkway, and replacing old irrigation systems (lines & valves) with new ones. I'm sure I may have missed some work Belle Terre did! Janet and her team have been working together for over 25 years and it is no wonder the job was done right, on time and on budget. Communication was excellent -- Janet sent timely emails and was on site many afternoons to check progress and to chat with her crew and/or me. Overall, we are thrilled and extremely happy with all the work Belle Terre did for us. We can't wait to have them back out to complete Phase 2 in the future.

Janet and her team did a fantastic job of rehabilitating our mature yard to replace and repurpose some older grass areas that had died off. Our job involved completely revamping irrigation in some areas and creating new spaces where the mature vegetation had outgrown its setting. On time, on budget, outstanding result. Janet and her team are great communicators and keep you involved in the progress. She knows her plants and will advise you on their maintenance when she hands the completed project over to you. We recently completed a front yard renovation with Belle Terre Landscapes and the entire process was smooth from the start. We are thrilled with how well the project turned out. Janet met with us to discuss our goals and proposed some ideas and a straw horse budget for the project. There was a little back and forth on the design as we tweaked the design and budget. Janet was very considerate that we were trying to stay within a budget we had in mind and she worked with us every step of the way. Once she had the go ahead to move forward, she worked very quickly to provide drawings and plant proposals. She has a creative eye for design and color and texture and works within your taste in plants. If for any reason a plant she suggests isn’t to your liking, no problem, she finds something else that meets your aesthetics and her design goals. The project ran completely on schedule and Janet provided updates every step of the way. You cannot ask for anything better than that when working on home improvement projects. The crew was great and left the area clean at the end of every day, so even though our front yard was under development, it was never an eyesore for the neighbors. The end results of this project is that we have a beautiful drought tolerant front yard with color, texture and life. We cannot believe how great it looks and our yard is so much nicer than our previous lawn focused design. I only wish we had done it sooner. I highly recommend Belle Terre Landscapes and would not hesitate to do another project with Janet should the time come.

I recently renovated the patios at my home in Santaluz. Janet was such a great partner. She's creative, reliable and was careful to work within my budget. Her skills go well beyond that of a landscape contractor. She has really good design sense as well. I would highly recommend her.
