Mariya is AMAZING! We had the pleasure of finding Mariya opportunistically (thank you!) since we were in search of a designer that really would take the time to understand our needs, push us in our thinking, and help us bring our vision to life in a new home construction. We brought in Mariya into our project after framing was completed and windows were in their respective locations, though now we wish we engaged her services prior to the start of project, since she would have helped us with layout/flow, window placements, other details. From the onset of the project, she was super active, went above and beyond what was expected, really cares about her work, sees through everything with detail to the finished product, makes great suggestions, my wife and I always had other ideas in mind, but we always ended up coming back to Mariya's selections in the end! She was never pushy, but we came to them organically on our own. :) We worked with two other designers for short stints prior to Mariya and had very different experiences in terms of direction we were going in to the project, and now we are IN LOVE with our selections that we made with Mariya since she really has a unique blend of classic timeless ness and modern styles that we embraced as part of our project. She helped us make adjustments along the way of the creative process, ensuring our selections would fit within our desired aesthetic and cohesiveness across the entire home. I would highly recommend her again for any new construction home project, she provides us great perspective and value, and I am sure increased the value of our home based on where we landed in terms of final product. I look forward to working with her on future projects, she is A+!

We hired Mariya and Rebecca to help us with an addition and remodel of our home. They do beautiful work and are attentive to every detail of the design. I truly cannot say enough about their ability to envision and create the most beautiful designs. We loved their ideas which were beautiful, but also thoughtfully designed and tailored for our family and lifestyle. We were unfortunately not able to implement the full design because of cost restrictions, but will be able to carryover many of their ideas and design elements into our planned remodel. Apart from their impeccable design capabilities, they were incredibly dedicated to the project and have spent countless hours helping us to find the right solutions and identifying potential contractors and vendors for implementation. Their attention to every detail and dedication to helping us walk through the entirety of the project have been so appreciated - they truly went above and beyond to help us maximize the potential in our project.

Since the moment Mariya stepped into my home, I've felt inspired and well cared for when it comes to designing the perfect environment for my family. I have a lot of passion for design but didn't know where to start and how to translate my many ideas into a cohesive look. Since working with Mariya, she has defined a visual aesthetic, maximized how we will use each space, and introduced me to so many wonderful furniture and fixture designers I had not heard of. Her deep experience shines through in her nuanced inspiration boards, insight into where to find top-quality pieces, and technical knowledge. I learn so much in each discussion we have. Mariya has given us the direction and courage that we need to design the home we have dreamed of but couldn't create on our own. She is an absolute joy and inspiration to work with.

My husband and I engaged Mariya in late 2020 to design a lake-house in Upstate New York. We had been searching for a vacation home for some time and after a few terrible home visits we choose to build our own. Mariya came to our attention through a recommendation we received from a trusted business associate. Immediately upon meeting her we realized she was the person we wanted to work with. Her calm approach to design was refreshing and very relatable. Unlike some designers we spoke with, Mariya asked us what we wanted and worked with us to fit into our budget. Perhaps most impressive is Mariya's tenacity. She worked vigorously to chase architects and engineers to get them to complete their parts of the project. Her dedication made this stressful process much more manageable. We are excited to commence construction and can't wait to see her work come to life.

Mariya helped us design our home in 2021. She put forth a beautiful vision for the space. It was minimalist, light and breezy, while still feeling comfortable and warm. It was a tricky space to work with - but Mariya's expertise helped make it exactly what we were looking for. Mariya is collaborative and has a great eye for engineering living spaces. Her renditions and high quality of communication quickly got us all on the same page. She has a great mastery over her design tools and very capable with online meetings. We always felt heard through the process. At the same time, Mariya guided us gently anytime we felt lost. Overall, I highly recommend Mariya as an expert and collaborative partner in your home design.

RAWI Design has been instrumental in creating many of our most beautiful projects. From concept, Mariya carefully listens to all of our clients' needs, wants and passions, and then tells the story of how the final product will be achieved. She is quite captivating. During the schematic phase, Mariya takes you on a journey through layout and creates amazing renderings that allow our clients to walk through their future space before it is even built. Her build documents, the recipe for the entire project, are thoughtfully organized, crystal clear, and delivered to the GC for easy execution. Mariya Sharif is truly a visionary and master of her craft. Not only are her designs well thought out but she is also always responsive and extremely attentive to all of our clients.
