We hired Jenny Rapp and her team to update and refresh two bedrooms and study on our second floor and our first-floor master bedroom. Jenny is a talented interior designer full of energy and creativity – she is a delight to work with. From our first meeting she listened to our ideas and presented us with creative choices. She crafted beautiful, vibrant spaces that reflect our style and personality, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Jenny has an exceptional eye for color. She blended soft and vibrant shades of coral with cream for a Barbie-themed bedroom, inspired by my limited-edition prints. She created a space that is both playful and elegant, perfect for a girl of any age! In the study, she selected a beautifully crafted rug in navy, teal, rust, and cream, and a “glazed sapphire” leather sofa, turning the space into a cozy retreat. Jenny's attention to detail is evident in every facet of her design from furniture to lighting. In the study, she revitalized two dated Jon Pils prints by replacing their 1970s gold-tone metal frames with elegant gold-painted wood and burlwood frames with textured mats, transforming them into stunning pieces of art. Jenny has an impressive network of skilled craftsmen who beautifully refinished our dining room table, chairs, and buffet, reupholstered fabric and leather seating, and refinished our first-floor hardwood floors. We are extremely happy with all the spaces Jenny has decorated and would recommend Jenny and her team to anyone looking for a fabulous interior designer!

Our project included raising our ceiling within our current roof line to enhance a family room. We also gutted a Jack and Jill bath and updated the two bedrooms on either side. Jenny Rapp and her team went to work on making recommendations for tiles, lighting, headboards, beautiful fabrics, wallpaper, all new furniture for the four rooms and a gorgeous area rug! She cleverly increased the our seating capacity to 15, for our growing family. This is our second successful construction project with Jenny Rapp and I wouldn’t use anyone else !!!

Jenny and her team have supported with a major addition of our home - participating from the first design meetings, reviewing floor plans, actualizing our vision, furniture selection and decorating the home. We live in North Carolina and they have done most of this work advising from afar, plus a few on site visits as well. Having to design a home is a worst nightmare situation for me, but Jenny and her assistant have made it pain-free and even fun. They really listened to our hopes for the space and found selections that matched our vision. Our 100 year old home has benefitted from some renovations over the decades but the original layout of the first floor, especially the tiny, pokey 8x15 foot kitchen that could accommodate one cook at a time, possibly 2 if people agreed to work sideways only, had not been touched. There was no gathering, no cooking together, no communing. It was a place to be banished to; not the heart of the home at all. With the help of Jenny Rapp and her crew of marvels and seasoned professionals, our home's difficult layout has become what we wanted for the years ahead. The kitchen is now the core of our home and the other rooms flow to and from it in a way that makes sense. We have an island! And so much seating. While I know what I like, it was incredibly helpful to have that translated into a few options when the never ending decisions needed to be made. But it was not only in the design and materials where JCR shines, it was in the support and validation for the renovation process itself. Unfortunately for us, we had the stereotypical horror story of a contruction team and they managed the personalities involved with professionalism. JCR made our vision a reality and I highly recommend them!

New to St. Louis, I had a daunting remodel facing me – kitchen, laundry room, powder room, foyer, bathroom along with other minor projects. Prior to my move, I did my homework by subscribing to STL Homes magazine and checking Houzz for designers. Jenny’s style appealed to me right away and she did not disappoint. I had in my mind what I wanted, but she and Natalia took it to the next level and beyond. They always came up with ideas that were just so perfect. Given the scope of work it took some time to complete, but honestly, I was sad when it was over because they were so much fun to work with. We recently completed a major home renovation which took over a year to complete. The first thing I tell people about Jenny, Natalia, Cynzia, and the team at JCR is that they care about your project like it was their own home. They go above and beyond to make sure everything turns out well. This included meeting carpet, drapery, wallpaper, painters, and others at our house to make sure everything started and finished as envisioned. On top of that, they follow up on any outstanding questions or issues. We had hardwood flooring manufacturing issues and wallpaper imperfection issues which the JCR team stayed on top of until all was perfect. They have a network of reliable suppliers and expert craftsmen who they bring to the project. The custom woodwork and refinished pieces came out exquisite and exceeded expectations. The design and construction of our home came out very well and the JCR interior features further enhanced the design. We are very pleased with and have received many compliments on our wallpaper, dining table and chairs, island chairs, countertops, lighting fixtures, and plumbing and cabinet hardware. Partly because of our timing where market prices were rising and partly because of our choices, our project was well over budget. I’m partially comforted by the fact that current prices have risen even higher. In any case we are very happy with the results and continue to use the JCR team for fine tuning and advice.

Jenny and team helped us effectively redesign our entire house, from top to bottom. Every room was in need of a change. Before doing anything Jenny sat down with us to get a sense of both our style but also the feeling we wanted in each room. That allowed us to start from a great foundation and automatically eliminate 95% of the choices that would not have made sense for us. On many occasions they travelled with me to review vendor offerings and materials or came to my house to personally view and experience what had been selected—to be certain that everything looked ”just right.” They have also accommodated my occasional indecision when making final selections, patiently offering options until my sometimes very particular preferences can be satisfied. I am very happy with the results of my partnership with the JCR team. While their work with me continues, we are approaching the end of the project. JCR Design Group is amazing! My new condo looks beautiful. It was so easy to work with Jenny and her colleague. They had fresh ideas and really listened to what my husband and I had to say about our goals. She stepped back when it was something that I wanted to handle and dove in when I was uncomfortable about a decorating matter. We started from scratch with a small condo in the CWE. We are just about done and it is better than I could have even imagined! We built our home 18 years ago and unfortunately the family room never worked properly. Jenny came in and listened to our needs and we could not be happier with the results. Jenny was wonderful to work with. Having worked with you 4 years ago to update these areas with painting and recovered furniture, I was confident. you would guide me in the right direction with this HUGE project in the summer. The dark wood floors are beautiful, and the 2 area rugs really set-off the entire places that have been re-done, including the gorgeous black (smaller) granite hearth. Jenny is terrific. She was both project manager and design consultant. On the project mgmt side she kept the million moving parts all moving forward. We moved every appliance to a new spot in order to gain the most space and we replaced the kitchen table with lovely and comfortable island seating for five. JCR Design Group has been used for design consultation and interior finish and furniture purchases over the last three years. I've worked on several projects with Jenny Rapp. She is extremely thorough, punctual, creative and friendly. I will continue to use her services and highly recommend her. Jenny Rapp is very knowledgeable designer. She is always on time, and available when you need her. She listens and comes up with great design plans and keeps within your budget. She is available by email as well, with quick responses when you need them the most. We have worked with her for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. She has great people around her, which ensures the job will be done right, the first time. Currently she has helped with a vacation home, not in the state we live in. She has helped throughout the building process and the project is almost complete. We now look forward to her helping us with all the small details, even from far away!!!

We moved to St. Louis a few years ago and because of our busy lifestyle, I did not have the time, skills or desire to decorate and furnish our new home. I was fortunate to find Jenny Rapp and I knew when I met her she would be a great fit for us. Jenny decorated and furnished every room in our entire home and she did it with kindness, patience and always with a focus on what I wanted and what would make it feel like home to me and my family. Jenny is extremely thorough, diligent and talented. She did not give up until she found the very best solutions for our home and she always found solutions that were very high quality within our budget. Jenny even took the time to get to know my girls so that she could make sure that their rooms were just right. She literally took my girls shopping (without me) so they could pick out their very favorite colors and patterns. I highly recommend Jenny Rapp and JCR Designs. I was a little sad when her work was done in our home because I knew I would miss Jenny since she made the process so positive.

I have been using Jenny Rapp now for almost 3 years. It all began about one week after I moved into our new home. I reached out to Jenny to help me with our family room. It then went from our family room to kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and now we are currently working on a living space in our basement. She was just that good that I felt compelled to use her for each space in our house. It has become our inside joke that each time she comes over I end up asking her about another room which leads to another project. By utilizing Jenny, I have saved so much time and money as she is a one stop shop and is so thorough that everything is perfect on round one. Jenny will win you over with her personality and knowledge of the business. Jenny is always filled with ideas and suggestions, is so easy to work with and there is never any pressure.
