We hired Peggy for new addition for Master bedroom suite and garage, new master bedroom suite, master bath, sitting room, garage expansion, all new interior and exterior finishes, new front entrance, kids bathrooms . Working together on design- we created a beautiful new space. Collaborative to work with , detailed, organized, great design, creative use of space. The interior and exterior change is dramatic and absolutely beautiful.

I had the pleasure of working with Peggy where we both started out working for the same architectural firm. I worked with her on numerous projects for a period of approximately 6 or so years, and wanted to give her the highest review marks that she deserves. She is a great listener, designer, collaborator, and client rep who is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend giving her consideration on your next project wherever and whatever the scale may be.

Working with Fresh Architect to create my outdoor space was a great experience. Peggy's attention to detail and her willingness to work with me was a welcome change from past experiences with other architectural design firms.

Peggy has helped with the interior renovation and exterior projects for our new home in Fairfield County. She is very detailed oriented, knowledgable and incredibly responsive. She was extremely helpful with interior resources, artwork selection and creating a great feeling in our home. I highly recommend her for new construction or renovation.

Peggy-Rubens-Duhl helped us design a basement and living area renovation. In addition, we added an eating area off the kitchen and redid the adjoining deck and landscaping. The latter was assisted by a great landscape architect that Peggy found for us and with whom she works. The entire process was great and highly professional, at the level expected of a commercial architect. All plans were fully drawn and specified. Complex building techniques were also specified. The design was excellent and creative. She also tracked the project along with frequent inspections and notes. Unfortunately our initial contractor turned out to be a disaster and could not build the project, and he ultimately abandoned it, taking my money. Peggy helped us recover from this and found us a contractor to complete the work who truly was great. She also helped us find an interior designer and coordinated that aspect of the project very well. In the end, the overall result was great and it worked very well. The whole project took almost 2.5 yr from start to finish due to the contractor issue.

Peggy is both personable, and professional. We have the pleasure of living in a 1936 cape which she renovated for her own family, prior to our purchasing the home. My husband wanted to add onto the existing structure; who better than Peggy to help us do just that. The process was fun, collaborative, and Peggy's knowledge and experience of older design and modern sensibility made it painless. She provides many options/ scenarios for the client to review before committing to a design. She understands mixing the classical lines with contemporary lifestyle; the renovation she did of the existing structure kept the charm of a cape, while adding amenities for today's family. When we added onto the existing structure, she understood our desire that the addition fit in flawlessly and seamlessly with the existing structure. Finally, if you love light, then Peggy is the architect for you. Our home is filled with natural light which we love.

Peggy Duhl was our architect for a complex home basement renovation that included building a new room, creating a roof/deck above it with a design that would guarantee no leaks. A major structural support beam for the house had to be moved and recreated. All water pipes, heat ducts etc had to be re-routed and hidden. Great attention to detail was required to make code specifications for ceiling height and electrical wiring. The design aesthetics were highly creative with differential lighting throughout the spaces, use of mirrors to enhance the natural light. Peggy helped with color choices for wood,paint, flooring, etc. Crucial to the success of the project, Peggy worked very well with our construction company to make sure the job was being done correctly. Peggy was very easy to talk to and was timely and available. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. I highly recommend Peggy Duhl without reservation.

Peggy Duhl, the architect of Fresh Ideas, is outstanding. She is very creative, conscientious and collaborates well. I loved her design ideas . She also has an excellent business model. She provided me with an estimate and contract and structured our project, including the design completion date. Peggy is very disciplined and attentive to detail, including the order for 24 custom windows. She worked very well with my contractor and was always available for urgent construction issues. Her fees were clearly laid out in our contract and very reasonable, particularly given how hard she worked on my project. The actual plans were very professional, detailed and beautifully drawn. I recommend her without reservations.

Having observed several of Peggy's outstanding projects, I cannot speak highly enough about her fabulous work. Her clients speak so highly about her level of competence and creativity. We have worked closely together for several years.

I am currently working on my yoga studio with Peggy Rubens Duhl. Peggy is extremely creative, detail oriented, professional and an expert in her field. I have complete trust and faith in her ability to transform my space into a beautiful, functional environment for me and my students. Rebuilding our family’s cherished beach cottage presented my brother and me with many opportunities and challenges.
