About Us

You are a unique creation, and your home project should be unique to you! Specializing in floor plans for remodels and new builds. We also specify any and all finishes. Our extensive work in the design field along with our many contacts of contractors, subs, and vendors makes our value in any design project priceless. We save our clients from making costly mistakes, and direct them towards the best design solutions. Our clients’ projects stay on time, and on budget! Larry is the founder and has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. He is able to work on any size project from as small as selecting colorways for a home, to working from the ground up; designing complete floor plans for a new home, and anything in between. Larry is excited to create environments that work well for a client, including flow of a floor plan and comfort of it’s finishes and furnishings. Anna, having a degree in Behavioral Science, brings another facet to Uhrich Design. She is able to really listen to the client and interpret what it is they desire. She also assists with product research, orders, project schedules, and bookkeeping. We at Uhrich Design, know that in this day and age people have a huge selection to choose from. The design of one’s home is a personal project, we get to know our clients very well, and always have an excellent working relationship with them. We know our clients have a choice, and we appreciate them choosing us. We know you have a choice too, and we look forward to the opportunity of working with you to create your unique home.

Larry helped me transform our small uninviting sterile white living room into a room I now love. He chose the perfect window treatment and area rug, He helped with the selection of pictures and even hung them for us. He also gave us recommendations for our backyard area. I highly recommend him!

Larry is a wonderful designer to work with. He is a good listener, is thoughtful and has lots of ideas to choose from. While I leaned into his expert opinions, I never felt pressured to do so. He is a good communicator, is knowledgeable and responsive. Whenever I contacted him, I always heard back from him the same day or the next at the latest. He keeps track of the progress of the project and provides updates on deliveries, etc. Larry is super organized and remembers everything. Also, he is sensitive to budget constraints without judgment. I am thrilled with the results of my project and plan to continue working with him in the future.

Larry designed a new kitchen, family/living/great room and bathrooms for the house my family originally bought in the 70s. He was also the project manager for the construction work. He and Anna did a fantastic job. Not only is the design terrific, but he brought aboard a great contractor and was very sensitive to costs. I'd recommend him highly to anyone who asked.

Larry has been a pleasure to work with and a source of wonderful ideas to transform our living space. He advised us to use more color rather than less to complement our diverse collection of artwork and it is just perfect. He made suggestions to guide our furniture search and assisted us with upholstery selections that have made the living room a lovely, welcoming place to spend time. In the space of an afternoon, Larry moved art pieces around so that the living areas now feel like a gallery. In short, his guidance has been very valuable and we are so pleased to have found him!

If your looking for a Designer that comes with a unique prospective to design to your taste, style and budget, then Larry is your guy. A “cookie cutter” Designer he is not. He walked my wife and I through the process and came up with ideas, colors , fabrics and patterns that we wanted but hit a wall trying to figure out. The way he tied our project together was absolutely amazing and we could not be any happier. Another thing we really liked and about Larry was his ability to provide a design and vision without breaking the bank or sending us to the high end fancy stores to make our home work for us. He is very price conscious and found us alternatives and gave us ideas to substitute the high priced things for something less expensive with just as much punch. Our project came together much nicer than we ever thought and we actually spent our money in the right places on the right products under Larrys’ tutelage. The way he held our hands through the process using patience and sincere desire to give us what WE wanted was very refreshing. He’s honest, fair, friendly, professional, extremely creative and an all around nice guy. I never refer anyone other than Larry for design. Give him a call. You won’t be disappointed

In our case, Larry helped us think through our overall space and how to create a more open floor plan with a better flow. He also helped to redesign the entire kitchen for a modern and functional look while ensuring it was balanced with the overall feel of the home. In addition, Larry was proactive in working with sub-contractors to ensure they understood the vision we were trying to pull off.
