I looked at hundreds of designers' websites, and I was drowning in images of white and grey with typical and expected accents via a throw cushions or maybe even an accent wall. Then I came across Grant Gilvesy Designs. Finally! Colour, texture and an exciting sense of style and personality! That being said, do not be intimidated or overwhelmed by his portfolio. He really listened to me, and he was able to extract genuine originality out of the issues at hand. I never felt like I was being slotted into a template of other living rooms or dining rooms he has designed for past clients. He is upfront about the fact that he uses high-end suppliers, but he is also respectful of your budgetary concerns. He makes it work. On top of it all, he is extremely fun and delightful. I can't recommend Grant enough!

My partner and I purchased a semi-detached house in Toronto in 2014. We hired Grant based on his Houzz profile and thought he would be a good based on our eclectic taste . His personality, honesty and attention to detail made him a pleasure to work with. We focused our attention on the living and dining room. Grant totally transformed the main floor of our house into a one of a kind home, rich in textures and colours. Grant selected a perfect combination of wall colours, wallpaper, rugs and fabrics for both furniture and accent pillows. We will definitely be using Grant to assist in the transformation of the remainder of our home.

I recently had the privilege of working with Grant on a Christmas project. The lobby of our building needed a fresh new look and Christmas was the time for the transformation to take place. Grant had excellent suggestions that brought about the changes we needed. A simple and elegant Christmas setting was created to the delight of hundreds of people entering and leaving the building during the Christmas season. It was a brilliant transformation that will now allow us to change the look of the lobby according to the season. Grant has the knack for visualizing the end result of a project. The work was completed according to the schedule set out and he took time to answer all of my questions. Grant helped me change the look and feel of my 134 year old home.By making little tweeks here and there he changed the look and feel of my family room,eating room off from it,kitchen,diningroom and front hallway.He had great ideas and brought me ample samples to make the final decisions.He also hired some of the nicest and most professional trades people to come in and do the work.It was a pleasure having them in my home.I would highly recommend Grant Gilvesy ,and have.He has a distinct eye for detail and makes the project most enjoyable.
