Our 1920s two-story brick traditional was completely restored by River Birch. It had been the victim of deferred maintenance and remuddling. Pierce and his talented team brought this old gal back to her glory. It exceeded our expectations and imagination. The scope of work included: to the studs reno of 2 bathrooms & kitchen, 2 HVACs, insulation, new drywall, replastering old damaged plaster, all new electrical, all new plumbing, custom stone counters, new tile in BA and hearth, immaculate finish carpentry (including custom milling to match the original), painting inside and out, and more... The result is a house that is updated to the way we live in 2014 but is period appropriate. As with any old house reno, we had our fair share of surprises. Pierce navigated these with calm and creativity and quickly found solutions. Some say "they don't build them like they used to." I disagree; River Birch does.

I have used other contractors remodel other parts of my house and was never satisfied until I used River Birch Builders. Their professionalism and quality of work far surpassed anyone I have used before yet their cost was comparable. I will never use anyone else.

Hired River Birch Builders to do the majority of construction on our rustic cabin. Their estimate was fair, and the completed work met all of our expectations. We always felt that Pierce and Griff were watching out for our best interests ... often suggesting alternatives, never cutting corners. Job site was always neat and tidy. Project was completed in the time expected. In summary ... a very professional crew with experience ranging from rough framing to custom finish work. Highly recommended.
