My new kitchen is gorgeous!!! Thank you to Kathryn... she designed my remodel and she utilized every inch available that resulted in so much more storage and counter space than I had before, and added a coffee bar! The cabinets and counter tops are beautiful...all of the contract work was performed on time and the men were very courteous. The contractor went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was perfect... and it is!

Larry came to our house to help us fit our new large refrigerator into the spot that Standard built for a fridge when they remodeled our kitchen a few years ago. He stayed for some time, and resolved a problem with the cabinet doors over the fridge, so that the doors could open and close above the top of the new, taller fridge. We’re very happy with the kitchen design and construction that Standard did for us. Our thanks to Larry for some great customer service. Sue and Mike VonderBrink

Kathryn is extremely knowledgeable, explained all our options, and was always available and responsive. She understands your goals, listens to your ideas, and offers suggestions that really enhance the project. In fact, we were so pleased with our new bathrooms, we are now working with Kathryn and the folks from Standard Kitchen & Bath on a total kitchen remodel!

We chose Standard Kitchen and Bath after looking at several local companies. Ray Bell helped us design a fantastic new open kitchen for our 1960's house. The project included wall removals, cabinets, floors, lighting, etc. Ray was a delight to work with and everything worked out perfectly! We love our Kitchen and would definitely go to Ray and Standard Kitchen for our next project.

Outstanding experience! My wife and I are just now finishing a complete kitchen remodel and have nothing but praise for our designer, Kendra Campbell, and the entire Standard Team! From the 1st time we visited the showroom and met Kendra, we never considered going anywhere else! The whole team, from the Receptionist (Rita), Designer (Kendra Campbell) and Owners (Larry and Scott Fendley) treated us like family from day 1, and guided us through a complicated process with respect and professionalism! We whole-heartedly recommend Standard Kitchen and Bath!

Designer Kathryn Prater and the team at Standard Kitchen & Bath help us to create a beautiful and functional kitchen/dining/bathroom remodel for our home. Kathryn's professional expertise and passion for design gave us the confidence to remove walls, enlarge wall openings, and envision what this new space could look like. She was able to come up with several floor plans, cabinet styles, and counter top options. Kathryn had a great working relationship and communication with our contractor (Fairfax Construction) which allowed the project to flow smoothly. We are thrilled with our remodeled kitchen and would highly recommend the professionals at Standard Kitchen & Bath.

We did a complete kitchen makeover including wall removals, floors, cabinets, hood, counter tops, back splash and all new appliances. Kathryn Prater was a delight to work with and had the patience of Job when it came to making changes. (Many changes) She has such a knack for arrangement to utilize the space most efficiently! We could not be more pleased with the outcome and professionalism of everyone at Standard. We would highly recommend Kathryn and plan on her helping with our bathroom makeover!

I chose SK&B to remodel my kitchen and I am so pleased I did. They were so very professional, always quick to answer any questions I had and extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They meet deadlines I had and respected the home they were working in. Cleaning up after themselves at the end of the day was an added bonus. I was so impressed I have just hired them again to remodel my guest bathroom.

After looking at several companies, we chose Standard Kitchen & Bath to help us with a total kitchen renovation. Not only do they supply quality cabinets, hardware, and countertops but their level of expertise and service-oriented attitude are unmatched. Our designer, Kathryn Prater, helped us meet our goals in terms of design, meeting our budget, and successfully navigating the renovation process. Kathryn knows all the local suppliers and was a willing resource in terms of advice on tile, lighting, paint choices, and all the other decisions that are part of the process. She's the best! Whenever you visit the showroom Rita, the receptionist, not only helps you but greets you by name. The company owners, Scott and Larry Fendley, are present and accessible if needed. Professional business. Recommendations for bath vanities, linen cabinet and kitchen cabinet design was beyond what we envisioned. Ms Campbell is very talented and professional. Her ideas flowed from cabinets to counters to sinks and complementary colors for faucets. All quotes and drawings were presented in a timely fashion.

Ray Bell with Standard Kitchen and Bath worked diligently with us to design our dream kitchen, master bath and 2 more full baths. He listened to our needs while keeping us on budget. I recommend Standard Kitchen and Bath without reservation. From the designer/saleswoman to the installers to the owner, these people sell good quality cabinets and know their stuff. I bought an entire kitchen's worth of new cabinets. They were delivered and installed on schedule. The installers were able to solve problems on site as they dealt with the quirks of my kitchen layout. The end result is beautiful. Whenever I had a question or an issue the company bent over backward to help, whether it was flexibility in scheduling around my other contractors or ensuring that every door and drawer was exactly as it should be. Highest marks!

I moved from Georgia and purchased a home knowing that the kitchen would require remodeling. I contacted SKB and began working with Kathryn Prater. What a wonderful experience! Kathryn listened to how I wanted to work in my new kitchen and understood the look I was hoping to achieve. Her incredible space planning and design aesthetic have resulted in a beautiful kitchen that looks like it truly belongs in the house. What was a dysfunctional kitchen with so much wasted space is now a pleasure to work in with every nook and cranny filled with storage options. Since I was new to the area, Kathryn also provided great resource recommendations for tile, appliances, and lighting, as well as contractors. Everyone at SKB was helpful, pleasant, and professional. The cabinet installers’ are extremely talented with incredible attention to detail – I wish they could do all the trim work throughout my home. If you are looking for great quality, beautiful design, a person that is pleasure to be around, really listens to you, and shows up when they say they will, then I highly recommend you contact Kathryn at SKB.

I would highly recommend Standard Kitchen and Bath, especially designer Kathryn Prater. She worked with us from the beginning, with such attention to detail. My kitchen came out beautifully, and we would not have even gotten close to the results without her. Kathryn is extremely talented, professional and fun to be around. I was very pleased when Kathryn and one of Standard's owners, Larry Fendley, came out to view the final results. The rest of the staff is also professional and pleasant. The quality of the Showplace cabinets we purchased from Standard is second to none. They are both beautiful and functional.

Our kitchen is very small and outdated and we knew we needed to make changes and remain within a budget . We were not sure it was doable. Larry Fendley worked with us. He was very professional in his advise, and we could not believe the beautiful kitchen we were able to have while staying within our budget. Larry was very easy to work with and wanted to help us have the best possible. We had a plan, however, he showed us an even better way to go. We appreciated his warm, helpful attitude, while remaining professional in his work. Our townhome is 25 years old and we wanted to remove the soffits and asked the contractor if there were electrical/water lines inside the soffits and he advised us no. Larry asked my husband to cut into the sheetrock and make sure before we ordered the taller cabinets. "There was both electrical / water lines." We were so disappointed; however, Larry told us by choosing a lighter cabinet would make the kitchen would appear larger. He was right!! When family and friends visit the first thing they say is 'Wow, this seems so much larger than before." We could not be more pleased with the professionalism, the knowledge, the caring spirit for customers, and the end results. We love our new kitchen!! Thanks Standard Kitchen and Bath!!!!

Awesome experience having a knowledgeable, tasteful designer who guided us thru every detail. We had an old kitchen in desperate need of some major help.Since our house is truly an 1940's cottage, we wanted to stay true to character while introducing some more modern elements with beautiful finishes. Standard Kitchen did a great job of working with us from design to final installation to give us exactly what we had dreamed of when we initially started the project.
