The Fidae workers were very professional, the crew boss answered all of our questions on the spot. They worked with our design and we are very pleased with the finished products, a pergola and creative fence surrounding a hot tub. The price was very reasonable. Ours was a small but complicated renovation of our master bathroom. Built 25 years ago on piers and beams, our home provided no access to the motor for a jacuzzi bath tub thus requiring demotion and removal of tile, and parts of surrounding walls. These interventions necessarily led to addressing access to the adjacent shower, its glass door, and tile. New plumbing as well as tub and lavatory faucets were required as well. FIDAE was extremely clear about the scope of work to be done, the disruption to our living space that would occur, and solicitous of our schedules. Mr. Gonzales and his project foreman, Michael McBee, were in constant communication with us to keep us informed as to worker schedules, who would be in our home, the time line, and mitigation of the unavoidable consequences of the multiple interventions. The workers were diligent, respectful, and, amazingly, also timely and neat. We were fortunate not to have required a larger scope project, but from our experience, would unhesitatingly call upon this company for future work in our home.

Since we were doing a major renovation, we dreaded finding a contractor who would make this project less foreboding. We found Mr. González on Houzz, met with him and he drew up some exciting plans for us. He is very knowledgeable with 30 years experience, always had answers to our million and one questions, helped make decisions on the house, organized all the subcontractors and did it with grace and humor. He was a joy to work with and after 6 months of deconstruction and construction he came in with a difference of less than 1% of his original estimate. I would hire him again for a future project!

Gilbert and I have collaborated on new construction and remodel projects since 2000 where we first bonded over a plea for honesty and fairness to painter who was about to get taken advantage of by the building company. If any problems/ project hiccups occur, he not only takes on the challenges with grace but sticks with a solution to its resolve. In May of 2017 we were doing a renovation of an auto garage and converting it to commercial property. Gilbert's company - FIDAE Custom Homes - completed a total gut and remodel of our kitchen. He is the most knowledgable and creative contractor I have ever known. He had suburb ideas and suggestions and managed all of the contractors beautify. He even made sure all of the permits and security guard access to our community was arranged for all of the workers so we didn't have to worry about it. He provided detailed list of costs and variances and reviewed them weekly. Afterward he had the house cleaned and put back in order! He is WONDERFUL!
