I am so disappointed! I purchased $2,700 worth of Glacier Honed Tile based on two things: (1) the sample I saw in the retailer showroom, and (2) a second sample I received direct from the manufacturer. WHAT DID WE CHOOSE? If you look at the first photo below, the top piece is the showroom sample. It was perfect - some thin gray veins with some tones of green and white. It paired with the green penny marble like they were born to go together. WHAT DID WE GET? The tile on the bottom. Smudgy dark gray on top of smudgy light gray with no green tones at all. My husband says it looks like dirty snow. WHAT WAS MARBLE SYSTEMS RESPONSE? Too bad, so sad. They said that this is just "normal variation and unapologetically washed their hands of the whole affair. Avoid products from Marble Systems. You have no idea what you'll get, and you are stuck with it.

My "go- to" rep there is the lovely Ms. Tugcem Gaines whose vibrant personality matches her professional knowledge of all things tile--from selection to installation she knows the industry and is an asset to any project.

To say that I absolutely LOVED working with Marble Systems (and Elizabeth in particular) on this project would be a complete understatement. Elizabeth had great ideas and really worked with us to achieve the look we wanted while still maintaining our budget. Their tile and slab selections are endless, pricing is reasonable and customer service is top notch. This was our second whole-house renovation with Marble Systems and I can confidently recommend them - they will always be our go-to supplier for tile and slab going forward!!!

Marble Systems is an amazing and beautiful place! My first time there, this very lovely woman, Tucha, worked with me and my husband to find just what we were looking for to match my counter top and she was extremely helpful and kind! Later, I had some problems with my tile because I did not use their people to put it in and when I went back to them, they were so gracious and bent over backwards to help me turn things around! Jose was top notch and I am so grateful to him and Tucha for caring so much about me being happy with the results! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jose and Tucha! I highly recommend them!

We built a house and it was a big project for us. The hardest part for me was selecting the tiles, grouts, etc. We had 5 bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen backsplash, etc. Before meeting Kathy, we met with a few other sales persons at various tile shops/showrooms. None of them explained the pros/cons of the materials, the process, and what it involves. Kathy was the best...professional, knowledgable, responsive, experienced, and she has a wonderful sense of design. I highly recommend her.

Jose, has supplied our company stone for the last five years thru Marble Systems. We were luckily to find him, as in depth knowledge of material, as well as what in stock and where has allowed our projects to run smoothly, for clients who want to use stone products. Gone are the days where we wait 4-6 weeks for 10K of stone and then it looks nothing like the sample... As an added benefit he speaks both English and Spanish, which helps with our project communication for all team members.

I worked with Tugcem Gaines at Country Floors (a division of Marble Systems) in Merrifield, Virginia. My project included three bathrooms and a kitchen/laundry room floor - a daunting task! Tugcem was patient, professional and charming throughout the process. She has a great eye for design and was very tactful guiding me through selections. Several times during installation the tile setter needed additional material and Tugcem dropped everything to accommodate me despite showing up without an appointment. Tugcem is delightful to work with; I recommend her highly.

Hannah Greely at Country Floors in Bethesda referred me to Angie (Angelina) Goddard who is a Senior Designer at Marble Systems in Fairfax. Both women are top notch with a keen eye for aesthetics. I worked with Angie and she quickly understood my design concept for a master bath and made insightful suggestions that improved upon the design. She is a quick study, extremely experienced, very conscious of my price point and I felt I was in exceptionally skillful hands. I strongly recommend both designers and Marble Systems is my go to resource. I also bought my kitchen granite and limestone there 8 years ago and continue to receive rave reviews on that selection. Both of these designers take the anxiety out of the experience and free you up to be as creative as possible.

" Every tile business should be like this Country Floors! " My family and I are remodeling one of our bathrooms and we needed to find nice tiles. After visiting in several stores, I was so pleased to follow my sister's advice and visit Country Floors in Bethesda, MD. I cannot emphasize enough how nice the store and staff are. The minute you enter the store you are welcomed and assisted, you don't need an appointment there is always someone to take care of you. I first met with Kathleen Keany who was very warm, pleasant, very ethical, highly professional, knowledgeable and the same goes for the rest of the staff whom I met, Hannah Greeley and Kelly are equally wonderful. The store itself isn't packed with tiles but everything is nicely displayed, and not overwhelming like some other stores. I recommend them highly and I'm very happy to have done business with them and will return again.

I would recommend working with your contractor and designer. It's not ideal to directly work with Marble Systems as they are a large distributor to many local Granite Fabricators and Tile shops. They have great staff, but it's 100% recommended that you go through your contractor to get the best results.

I called Country Floors today looking for one individual decorative tile from an obscure, discontinued line. Instead of simply informing me that the line was discontinued, the salesperson, Rachel Rivera, without my asking, went out of her way to find out if there were any leftovers. Sure enough, she found the exact tile I was looking for along with several others in the same line. I purchased them all. Ms. Rivera's conduct throughout our brief transaction was warm, helpful and highly professional. As an older consumer I am dismayed by the increasingly poor customer service in the retail world. Ms. Rivera has restored my faith while generating good will for the company. Thanks to her, I would not hesitate to contact this company should the need arise for a future home improvement project, and would recommend it to others based on my experience today with Ms. Rivera.

I never write reviews, but this experience had to be documented. My customer has a large bathroom renovation and excellent taste, and I was referred to Hannah Greeley at Marble Systems/ Country Floors. When I walked in, I was amazed at the gorgeous array of products and the beautiful design of both the Chantilly and Besthesda showrooms. Right away I could tell that the floor tiles were of a much higher quality than the big box tile store my GC took us to... And I feared for my client's budget! The referral to work with Hannah came so strongly, that I said let's give it a shot. Hannah was able to fully understand the project goals. Budget concerns and design/functionality requirements and was able to utilize her kitchen and bath design experience to add value to our goals. The most impressive part of this experience was she was able to balance a high/low schematic wih he materials to still give off a high-end look that offered impact in the right places and kept the budget in place... We did splurge a little but the end result was as worth it! I must also add that her smile and laughter throughout the selection and budget discussions kept things upbeat and we had fun! The showrooms are gorgeous and inspiring. The overall experience is a bit higher-end but the products and customer service are worth it.

As a Designer sourcing materials and samples are key and with Marble Systems it always an easy process ,great service, timley delivery and very competitive costs . Marble Systems is my go to Marble resourse!

I have worked with Angelina Goddard at Marble Systems on two bathroom projects and I am thrilled with both. She helped me to select all of the tile for a small guest bath (that I did not want to spend a lot on) and the master bath (where I was willing to spend a bit more but still had a budget). She has exquisite taste at any price point. Angie was extremely patient and made sure that I not only got tile and granite that I would love - but understood that I also wanted bathrooms that were not going to need a lot of extra care or attention to keep nice.

Great slab selection for countertops. I chose a limestone slab for my kitchen. I was skeptical about using limestone slabs for my countertop but, they explained pros and cons and we are very happy with it.
