Reither Construction, Inc

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Reither Construction. We hired Reither to finish our basement in fall 2025. We paid 98% of the contracted price, and 9+ months after construction began, we still cannot use our basement. Our experience included multiple failed county inspections, including previously cited items that had not been corrected; ongoing electrical issues; active water intrusion in the walls around a window Reither removed and reinstalled; and significant flooring problems. Although floor leveling was specifically included in our contract, an independent certified flooring inspector ultimately concluded that 100% of our LVP needs to be replaced due to inadequate floor preparation and installation that did not meet manufacturer requirements. Project management and oversight were also major concerns. Ryan was often difficult to connect with, and subcontractors would come to us with questions about what they were there to do or how parts of the project were supposed to be completed. We frequently found ourselves navigating issues we had hired a GC and project manager to coordinate and oversee. The project was never completed, and we never had a final walkthrough. We were also presented with unexpected additional charges totaling roughly 10% of our original contract without change orders. When we disputed them, Ryan told us he would place a lien on our home and would not address the outstanding items we had been trying to resolve. No lien was ever filed. We have now had to hire lawyers just to try to get any of this resolved. Multiple contractors have also declined to take on the corrective work because of the liability and unknowns involved, and the solution we’ve now been quoted is essentially to start the basement over. This experience has been incredibly stressful and costly for our family and very far from the “luxury basement finishing” Reither advertises. We would never hire Reither again and would never recommend them.

As a business owner myself (for over 30 years), I know how valuable a positive review can be and I can not say enough of great service and quality work we received from Reither Construction and their sub's. They were very quick to respond to my questions and any changes I requested to the original contact. Very simply Reither Construction will be the first company I will call for any future work I need.

We just finished up finishing our basement with Reither Construction. John and Ryan and their teams were amazing throughout the entire process. Both were communicative and answered any questions we had at various points during the project. And they got the project done to the day that they estimated. I also have to mention that their team was comprised of some of the nicest people we have had in our home. The workers put in a lot of effort to not disrupt our family's life (going in through the egress windows rather than the front door whenever they could, letting us know when they were coming and going, etc.), which is a rarity with a lot of contractors so it was much appreciated.

Reither Construction did a fantastic job remodeling our bathroom. It looks amazing, the crew was great, and John and Ryan were great to work with. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent company ! We had them renovate two bathrooms completely for us . They were very organized, dependable and approachable workers. The project ran smoothly as they were well informed, considerate and cleaned up daily before they left. The project went smoothly with management checking in daily. I’d use them again for any project and I have to admit I pay attention to detail as I appreciate the best effort when I decide to do a project. Ryan and his Father in law were excellent leaders and his crew really respected them and valued their input as did I.

We had a great experience working with Reither on our back patio, installing a deck and railing. The team was professional from start to finish, they were able to get our job done in a very timely manner- starting earlier than we thought would be possible and finishing a day ahead of schedule. We would absolutely hire them again for future projects.

This was my second remodel with Reither Construction. Their work is excellent and I am totally pleased with my new master bathroom, just as I was with my kitchen remodel.

We hired Reither Construction to remodel our master bathroom and are very pleased with the result. Ryan and John were very easy to work with and they fully implemented our desired design. The personnel who performed the work were very friendly and extremely competent. They did an excellent job in retaining the construction dust/dirt/etc. in the construction area. The project was started and completed on schedule. Based upon our experience, we are happy to highly recommend Reither Construction.

We are so happy with the results of our renovation. Friends ask about drama during the process and we tell them honestly, “There was no drama - the workers were on task every single day.” These days we all know that rarely occurs during these sorts of projects. The owners checked in almost everyday to make sure everything was being done correctly. We had high expectations and they were met in every instance. We highly recommend Reither Construction for any home project.

We used Reither Construction for our bathroom remodel. We have two kids and they were respectful of our schedules and helped work around them when possible. We felt that everyone on the team was really nice and respectful. They also made sure they left no trace in our house and thoroughly cleaned after themselves. They were fast and efficient. We hired them to complete our bathroom after we decided we didn't want to do it ourselves. They were happy to add additional services that we didn't originally plan to go with. We had everything picked out and they installed it and made it all come together. They did a really great job and made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted in the end and even helped with some design choices throughout the process. We highly recommend using them and will continue to use them.

We LOVE these contractors. Everyone told us we would hate our contractors by the time our kitchen was finished, and they could not be more wrong. We recommend them to everyone we know, with zero reservations. They are communicative, ethical, and easy to be around. We would never work with anyone else. They have done our powder room, laundry room, rebuilt our fireplace facade and gutted our whole kitchen. I have two more projects in mind, once I can convince my husband. (: Get it right the first time, but not until all my projects are done (: !

They are honest, professional, and knowledgeable. They will get the job done. They have good connections to the trade. The staff is courteous.
