About Us

Serenity Interiors by Trenell, LLC (SIT) was founded February 2019 by Trenell A. McCauley due to the strong encouragement of her husband and daughter. The twinkle in her eyes returned since doing what she loves. Trenell’s passion for fashion and styling began as a teenager. Her passion for beauty, serene environments, and class grew so much so that she found herself giving styling and decorating advice to many of her family and friends. Trenell’s style can be described as Modern/Contemporary with a splash of Glam mixed with bold colors. When Trenell founded SIT, it was important to her to provide an affordable luxury design service for the middle class and small-medium size businesses. It is Trenell’s mantra that every room in your space should bring you serenity not anxiety. We are committed to excellence in every aspect of our business. We uphold a standard of integrity bound by fairness, honesty, and personal responsibility. Our distinction is the quality of service we bring to our customers. Accurate knowledge of our trade combined with ability is what makes us true professionals. SIT prides themselves on creating bespoke, client-focused spaces with innovative solutions that complement the personalities of both the home and its owner, while addressing some of our clients most challenging situations. Our services are customized to your individual needs, paying close attention to the details of each project that we are involved with. We've had clients that have inherited homes from their parents and/or grandparents and they need a new and fresh design to bring their personality into their new home. Many of our clients love that we have over 10 years of budget and project management skills; we serve as a liaison between our clients and the General Contractors. We give attention to detail to every project to ensure our services far exceeds our client’s expectations and our clients are properly represented to stay on budget and on time. We are watchful of our customers' interests, and make their concerns the basis of our business.

Our organization hired Serenity Interiors by Trenell to collaborate on a vision for our new office space as we enter our 9th year in the non-profit space. Mrs. McCauley exceeded our expectations in every way. She delivers white glove service from concept to implementation. Her creative brilliance shows up in every design and every piece she selects to outfit our office. Her process in getting to know her clients is thoughtful and deliberate as she marries individual preferences and personalities to the overall vision of the entire space so there is a rhythm to the landscape that flows beautifully. She is timely, communicative, and a definite problem-solver. We are in Phase I of our project with her and we just had our preliminary reveal. We were WOWed!!! The time and detail Mrs. McCauley put into every single concept shows her love for her art and her dedication to her clients. We celebrated with a toast and tears as we rejoice in the ability to return to the office post-pandemic in a space that is indeed serene and conducive to getting our work done in a high-stakes, fast-paced field. We can't wait to have the final reveal! Trenell was amazing to work with. Not only did she help me design the spaces in my new home and source furniture, she worked with the contractors that did all of the plumbing, electrical and painting work that needed to get done as well. It made the entire process easy, enjoyable, and fast! Trenell has a great sense of style and allowed me a lot of input which was great! Highly recommend Trenell for any design needs!

Trenell did a complete make over of my living room and dining area. She made the space appealing, but most of all very comfortable. I did not have any idea on what I wanted for the spaces, just shared with her that I wanted a comfortable space. Trenell came through like a champ! There was no decorative detail left undone, from the largest items down to the smallest detail, such as table art/decorations. Her team even programmed the tv they hung for me!! I was very pleased with her professionalism and her attention to detail. I have personally visited other homes and commercial spaces she's done, and have been truly amazed! I would highly recommend Serenity Interiors by Trenell to any seeking to create a new atmosphere in their homes or offices. Teresa

Our kitchen was dark and unwelcoming and we decided to update it. After looking into replacing cabinets and countertops, we realized that the cost would be beyond what we wanted to spend on a remodel, so we reached out to several interior decorators to see how we could remodel without replacing cabinets and appliances. Trenell's vision for updating the cabinets was what sold us on using her services. She had the cabinets modified to draw the eye up and give more visual impact, had them painted, replaced hardware, light fixtures, and countertops. The transformation is amazing! We are very happy with how things turned out and were particularly pleased with her professionalism and dedication to excellent customer service.

Trenell and her team were attentive to my need to build a room on the lower level of my townhouse, which required the moving of electrical switches and the addition of overhead lighting. They responded well to all of my questions and comments and left with a fantastic finished product.
