Working with Epique Homes and specifically the owner, Troy, was one of the most disappointing and stressful experiences we’ve had. After investing significant time and money into the planning process, we were forced to back out due to Epique being significantly over the original budget projections, which made moving forward impossible. We confirmed budget with them based on previous plans and they increased their price over 30% from our initial agreement. This was money we had saved up for years, meant to be used for our first home while starting a family. To see it disappear like this is heartbreaking. Despite the situation, Troy kept over $30,000 of our hard-earned savings with no flexibility or empathy. It felt less like a business transaction and more like a complete lack of accountability and decency. We were left with nothing to show for our investment. If you're considering working with Epique, be extremely cautious and make sure you understand where your money is going—especially if things don't go exactly as planned. This experience has been costly both financially and emotionally.

Troy and Team Epique - Love, love, love our new home! We were a bit nervous during the initial phase of construction considering we were making all the design decisions while living in Wisconsin. Due to uncooperative winter weather, we were only able to visit the construction site two or three times. But we had nothing to worry about. Becky did a fantastic job of capturing our design visions via long distance, often with very early morning phone calls and lots of e-mail. We couldn't be more pleased with the home's quality of construction and impeccable attention to detail. Thank you, Doug and Jeff! Since moving in, we've had a lot of 'Wow' moments from family, friends and neighbors, especially when they first catch of glimpse of the canal view from our 4 large living room windows and then once they open the mini french doors to reveal the stunning master suite. What better way to end a warm, summer day than relaxing in our 3 season, screened-in porch. You guys thought of everything! Our home truly is our dream come true!. Thanks, Team Epique! Troy built a great house and did a fantastic job with transparency/management throughout the process (...especially with us living in Chicago throughout the home build). The house was built on time and within the budget we had allocated. The finished house is fantastic and even four years later he is helping us to keep it in great shape.
