Isn't converting a two-dimensional plan on paper to a 3D product that delights you in your home what everyone wants from a cabinet contractor? That is our recent experience with Kamal and his entire team at Parand Design - special mention to Dennis the installer who took the project to an even higher level. But it was more than just getting what we saw on paper. With his engineering background, Kamal was able to recommend tweaks here and there and even upgrades that took our project beyond our expectations. As good as the design was, with Kamal's help, we got much more than we ever expected! He is amazing. We feel we have a personal relationship with him - love the tea in his shop - and the birthday champagne and flowers for Rhonda on her birthday made this a world-class experience. Parand Design was a major partner in our home renovation by building our custom kitchen, built-in bar, office desk and cabinets, principal bathroom vanity and our principal bedroom closet. The result is an impressive amount of storage, with a thoughtful mix of shelves, hanging spaces, and pullouts. Despite various challenges on my small space such as —ductwork, corner angles, venting, and windows—nothing hindered the design process. Every square inch was maximized with custom solutions perfectly tailored to fit our space. While custom work comes at a higher cost, the difference in quality and attention to detail is evident, especially when compared to other alternatives. Thank you!

Kamal and the team at PARAND Design did a spectacular job transforming our outdated, builder grade peninsula styled kitchen into a massive modern island kitchen. We went to PARAND Design with an idea based on Instagram pictures and sketches. Kamal's attention to every detail, expert knowledge, advice and customer service allowed us to take the worry off our shoulders. Kamal was able to take that rough design and transform it into reality. Every part of the kitchen was transformed into a beautiful, and functional space. Every inch of cabinetry, countertop and backsplash was measured and installed with precision. We love our new design and layout of the kitchen. It is so much more functional for our family and as well as entertaining friends and family. We are super excited to use and enjoy our new kitchen. We undertook a home renovation project starting in the fall of 2021. Our contractor, Dave Gimza of Glen Abbey Contractors, recommended Kamal at Parand Design Kitchens for our kitchen design. We were new and unsure as to how to design the kitchen of our dreams. Kamal sat us down and talked through everything we wanted in a kitchen and without hesitation said “no problem” and drew up multiple plans. He walked us though our original design and his designs and explained what he thought made the most sense in terms of functionality. These plans were amazing, easy to understand and included aspects we didn’t know were possible, for example a cupboard for our KitchenAid that rises up and turns the electricity on and off automatically. He also integrated lighting in our display cupboards so there are no switches to turn on the lights, you simply run your hand along the side like magic. Not only did he provide us with an amazingly beautiful and functional kitchen, but he also designed two of our bathrooms. Again, he provided us with multiple design plans and walked us through what would be most functional and beautiful for our space. Kamal also walked us through the finishings of cupboards, the counter tops, everything down to the last detail! Renovations are usually stressful but we can honestly say the kitchen and bathrooms were some of the easiest parts thanks to Kamal and his team. Kamal is a joy to work with and knows how to get the job done. Our kitchen was completed in early 2022 and we have since waited to write this review. Everything looked great but we needed time to work in our new home and see how we liked our renovations. We can honestly say that almost a full year later, and we are still in love with our new home, especially our kitchen and bathrooms, and everything is finally not only functional but also beautiful. We owe a lot of this credit to Kamal and his team at Parand Design Kitchens. If you are contemplating whether or not to go with Parand, we encourage you to reach out to Kamal and his team and have a consultation. You will be amazed at the professionalism and quality of work.
