About Us

4 Rivers Contractors Inc. is a full service remodeling company, located in Yonkers and serving Westchester County. Owner and President Frank Cioffi has been a self employed carpenter and remodeler since 1980. “Working in older homes for 30+ years, I’ve never worked in a house that was the same as any of the previous ones. It’s remarkable to see the variety of architectural design in homes from the earlier 20th century. They all have their own character and present different challenges to the remodeler”. Taking on these challenges has earned us the respect of the design and trade professionals that are part of our network, helping us produce quality projects that we can be proud of. Newer homes are easier to work on but still need tight doors and windows, a good roof, durable masonry, and good indoor air quality.

Frank Cioffi and 4 Rivers Contractors are a pleasure to work with. They are professional, reliable and trustworthy. Frank and his crew work efficiently, pay close attention to detail and do a careful clean up. We've worked with Frank and his team on several projects including a basement renovation, living room built-in bookcases, fireplace mantle replacement, attic renovation and other smaller projects. I highly recommend 4 Rivers - they are a first rate operation.

Frank and his team did a great job on my renovation project of 2 bathrooms and a kitchen in my 100 year old house. He was always available to answer questions and let me know right away when issues and additional costs arose, such as needing an engineer after demo was done and asbestos removal. He finished on time and was in touch post project to fix any problem that came up since the completion of the project. I highly recommend him and would work with him again on future projects.

I would definitely recommend 4 Rivers Contractors. We had a large master bath with walking closets (300 sq ft) completely renovated. The work done by both the general contractor and those working with him was excellent. They were on the job each day. Any problems that arose were generally corrected in 24 hours. Cleanup occurred daily. The bid was quite reasonable. There also seemed to be a great working relationship between the general contractors and the subcontractors.

Frank and his team were truly a pleasure to work with. We had extensive damage to our house as the result of a tree falling on it, and Frank handled all aspects of the repairs (including dealing w/ our insurance company) and made the process as pain-free as possible. 1.5 years later, I can say that we are still very happy with the results.

We first hired 4 Rivers Contractors (Frank Cioffi) to remodel our kitchen in Larchmont, NY in 1998. He did an excellent job. Then we moved to Ossining and completely renovated our home with 4 Rivers. He is professional, friendly and fairly priced. His employees and sub contractors were all knowledgeable and skilled workmen. There were no surprises and if he came upon a problem, we would discuss it to find a reasonable solution. Following a storm, we lost power, and Frank continued working with hand tools. The project was done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him for any kind of construction work.
