Working with Senso Design, and especially Roman, was an absolute pleasure. Unfortunately, our basement was damaged by the rainstorm in Toronto in July 2024. After completing the interior waterproofing, we began searching for a company to restore our finished basement—framing, insulation, drywall, bathroom, laundry, stairs. Roman went above and beyond in all areas. I received quotes from over 10 contractors, ranging from $40K to $100K. Some contractors took weeks to provide estimates, some never replied, and others didn’t consider our input. Roman, however, stood out. He listened carefully to our needs and challenges. After assessing the work required, he promised a quote that weekend—and delivered. After meeting with Roman, we knew he was the right person for the job, and we didn’t feel the need to meet with anyone else. He understood our urgency; with our basement contents scattered around the house, our living space was cramped. Roman got the project started quickly, which we appreciated. From start to finish, Roman kept us informed. We could reach him via text or call, and he responded promptly. He kept a close eye on the budget and always discussed options with us when issues arose. The basement presented some challenges with the new waterproofing, particularly when it came to framing around the weeping tile. But Roman tackled it head-on and figured out the best solution. His team is fantastic—friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Our finished basement is far better than it was before. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the end result is exactly what we envisioned. I had my unit painted by Senso Design Ltd. The painters were aware that I stayed at home while they painted my unit. They were careful with my belongings to keep my place as clean as possible. As to the paint job, they did a professional and most satisfactory job.

I hired Mark the owner of Senso Design back in December for a complete Condo Renovation project. 2 bathrooms, kitchen, all doors, trims, floors, light fixtures, paint and removal of popcorn ceiling. Also took out a wall in the kitchen and closed out some other walls. The project started in Mid January and lasted 2 months. He had given me 7-8 weeks for completion, so that was good. I was really impressed with Mark as the owner and general contractor, always available to speak to you, give you advice and he is fair. He is honest and very knowledgeable. The trades that he employs did some fantastic work. Very professional. Payment were respected as per our contract and were made as the project was advancing. We are very happy with the completed project. I would highly recommend Mark and Senso Design for any renovation projects.

Our kitchen needed something, and we knew what we wanted in our mind, but just couldn’t find what we were looking for. A trip to the Senso Design showroom and design studio solved that problem quickly. They introduced us to several different cabinet styles and showed us what worked with countertops in the grand design scheme. We went from a small upgrade to a full kitchen renovation that encompassed new flooring, a new sink and faucet, and new lights for our ceiling. Senso took care of everything – they had a plumber and electrician working along with excellent cabinet installers to bring our project home without a hitch.

Our kitchen renovation ran into a snag when the project was getting off the ground. We wanted some pod spotlights installed to brighten our kitchen and new flooring. We shopped around and found the team at Senso Design. They were able to come in and rewire our kitchen – it was gutted – and install the new lights that we picked out in their showroom. The new flooring – tiles – were an afterthought, until we saw the selection. The installation was part of a pay-one-price package that Senso was able to extend to us. Now, we have a bright and lively kitchen, with flooring that is durable and looks great.

We bought our classic kitchen from Senso Design and we were surprised at how simple it was. Our trip to their showroom was eventful; we had an idea for a classic kitchen for our urban bungalow that matched a lot of the design work in our home. Once we had sat down with the professional kitchen designer and told him of about our ideas, he had many choices for us to review. In the end, we chose the Bianca model because liked the set-up of the cabinets and the wide array of colours to match with the rest of the kitchen. The cabinet profiles were extensive and we had a hard time deciding from all the different styles we liked. At the corner of L-shaped countertop, Senso Design installed a ‘Lazy Susan’ firmament, so we didn’t lose any space, and we get a lot of use from it.

Our counter-top was showing signs of age and we needed a new one to go with the cabinets we had painted a year early. At Senso Design, we took a color sample and they matched it to many different styles of kitchen counter-tops that they had in stock. It didn’t take long to choose the concrete style counter-top that matched the hunter green color of cabinets. We felt that the friendly, courteous service we received at Senso made all the difference when it came time to choosing our kitchen counter-top. Our counter-top is the highlight of the kitchen and it is as functional as it is good looking.

A designer introduced us to many different designs and showed us several different countertops that would work with the designs. We purchased new cabinets, a countertop and added a new sink. The Senso team did all the work – they even had a plumber for the sink installation. Overall, we are more than satisfied with the product, workmanship and short wait we had for installation as a whole.

The installation process was a cause for concern, but the installers removed the old countertop and backsplash and disposed of it after they installed the new one.

We needed to update our bathroom as it started to look a little shabby, and Senso Design provided all the support we needed. We started out looking for a new vanity to update the main bathroom, but we didn’t realize that the cabinets weren’t providing the greatest use of space in the bathroom. Once the consultant had taken our information, he made some recommendations to help get the possible results with our unused space and helped with design features for vanity. Now, we have new cabinets in the bathroom with tons of space for towels, toiletries, and toilet paper, something we didn’t have before we visited Senso Design. She provided three different ideas for our new kitchen and the best part of that was there was no charge for it.
