This review comes almost 6 years after we started working with Collin and his team at Arjay Builders. We wanted to wait to make sure that our house was still standing after a few years. :) Good news, it is. Upon contacting Arjay a few years back, we could immediately see the difference in working with them versus other builders. Collin is prompt, thorough, and understands how to communicate. As a matter of fact, even years later, Collin has been available to help connect me with past vendors (needed a garage door spring as well as an upgrade for the sprinkler system). He has promptly returned every one of my calls over the past 6 years. This is helpful if something is broken or if you have a question about how something was done in the past after you move in. Now for the build itself. We were lucky to build our custom home during a time that Arjay could accommodate a smaller project. Although our build was one of their smaller projects, there was no skimping on details. Their build process includes many things by default that other builders up charge for. This makes the base price even better as we got many "extras" that are just included by default. This was easily visible by friends that have built stopping by to compare our build to their build. I don't have the specifics, but that is what I keep hearing. The build was completed on time with the exception of some tile that was affected by an illness of the tiler. They had also used a software called Builder Trend which helped with a lot of the approvals, upgrades, and even seeing pictures of the progress on days that we couldn't make it on site. Overall, I'm giving them 5 stars and probably 98/100 if use a larger scale. We love our home and we hope Arjay continues building awesome homes! We hope to be fortunate enough to be able to use them again for our next project!

We have been in our new home for over a year now. The experience was top notch from day one! John, Collin and Jordyn were like a dream team to work with and bounce idea's off of. The contractors were clean, efficient and had an eye of detail that seems to be lost these days. Our supervisor Kyle was superior as well. My husband and I have built 4 new homes with high end builders, I can without a doubt say our Arjay home is the most solid- well built home we have.

As a company, we've worked with Arjay multiple times this last year and a half. We can honestly say they are amazing to work with. Collin and his team are some of the best. Arjay constructed our custom home in 2018/19. Overall the experience was excellent and we are very happy with the end result. Having worked with many builders over the years in residential and commercial construction, the level of service and quality provided by Arjay stands far above the rest. Our home built by Arjay presented a number of unique construction and finish challenges due to the design and construction specifications of the home. The Arjay team addressed every issue, large and small, and continue to be responsive to minor finish/warranty issues that have cropped up since we have moved into the home. We had the good fortune to have built two home with ARJAY Builders Inc. Both experiences were exceptional! We lived in our first home for 15 years and have been in our current home 18 years. In both cases, the quality of construction and finish work was excellent. Cost to build both homes was very competitive with other builders we spoke to. The difference was the quality of materials, superior service and the attention to detail. Both the interior and exterior design have stood the test of time. The floor plan provides us with maximum use of space without that "cookie cutter" look and meets our lifestyle needs. After 18 years, we know we can still rely upon ARJAY to assist us if the need should arise. This family owned business understands the importance of the work ethic and takes great pride in their work.

ArJay reworked a wall and added shelving and a fireplace to the recreational room in our home that they previously built. The workmanship was beautiful, especially the tile on the fireplace. In addition, they were exceptionally respectful of the surroundings. Jeff, who served as the foreman, was on site every day and did an exceptional job overseeing the various trades who were involved. He is also a really nice guy and worked well with my wife. And, of course, Colin was our 'go to' guy from the estimate to the final punch list. We could not have had a better experience and are absolutely happy with the outcome. ArJay will build our next house as well!!!

I don't know where to begin when it comes to the great experience my wife and I had working with Arjay Builders. We have several friends who had built custom houses with other builders in Omaha and most of them did not have positive experiences. That's not completely fair, what I mean is there were more negatives than positives. I am not exaggerating when I say there was not one negative experience working with John Shramek and his excellent staff at Arjay Builders. Building a home requires a temporary, but very close relationship with a group of strangers, who you have to entrust with a large sum of money and the greatest asset most people will ever own. Our relationship with Arjay felt personal, not professional. The patience exuded from John and his staff dealing with first-time home builders was greatly appreciated. They met several times to work on every detailed aspect of the design. We changed lots a couple of times and they never rushed us to start building. After we selected Arjay as our builder, we heard from several sources that they are one of the most respected builders in the area, and I can attest to that praise. The house is beautiful, the layout is perfect, the view is immaculate and we couldn't be happier with the place we get to call home everyday. Lastly, the way Arjay Builders treated us long after we moved into our new home is a true testament to the character John brings to his company. We had an issue with our refrigerator that took several weeks to clear up with the manufacturer. Under no legal obligation and with no help from the distributor, John and his staff came over and uninstalled the fridge for us so that service technicians could resolve the problem, not once, but twice.
