Melinda is great partner to have when going through a kitchen renovation. My new kitchen is complete and I couldn't be happier with the result. Going into the process, I had already spoken with a few other designers. But it wasn't until I met Melinda that I felt I'd found someone who provided honest feedback, well-thought suggestions and great design advice. She also understood my budget and was committed to helping me stay within it. The whole process was collaborative. Her creative approach helped to improve the look and function of some of my own ideas. And where I needed guidance she provided options, clearly explaining the pros and cons. As a result, I felt really confident about each choice we made. Now, not only does my new kitchen look beautiful, but it's very functional and efficient and works better than ever. Aside from her extensive professional expertise and knowledge, Melinda is also very responsive, very attentive, very detail-oriented and has great taste. And she's fun to work with! I can't recommend her highly enough.

I thought I knew how to make best use of my space but Melinda had all kinds of ideas that improved both storage options and counter space, as well as having access to great cabinets. She went with me to the quartz showrooms and never complained about my indecisions! Excellent experience.

Melinda completely redid my kitchen, designing it from start to finish. She creatively found room for a small powder room, as well as bench seating. Everyone who sees it always says "wow." It was just what I wanted. I highly recommend.

My wife and I are both amazed by how talented Melinda is. We had her design a kitchen for us back in 2007 and she did a fantastic job, she was able to capture all our likes into a design that made a small kitchen with very limited work space into an open and very functional kitchen. We have since moved into a home with an even more challenging kitchen and again Melinda came up with a design that's far better than we ever imagined.

Melinda designed us a beautiful and functional kitchen a few years ago. She helped us redesign an outdated small kitchen into a large and open kitchen, living and dining area for our family. She was such a pleasure to work with - very professional and knowledgable, and you could tell she poured her heart into our design and wanted to make sure we loved the end result. She made layout and appliance recommendations that we would have never thought of, which really made the difference in the end product. We would highly recommend her for any design project.

We recently hired Melinda to help design our kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. Simply stated she was fantastic! From style to color to trim she did everything. Melinda was very accomodating with respect to allowing for numerous meetings and reviews as our home was 10,000 sq/ft. Melinda also provided excellent advise with regard to paint color and tile selection. Probably most important she never held her opinion back when we were veering off in the wrong direction. For this we are especially lucky and grateful. Obviously we would recommend Melinda without hesitation.

The art is in the detail. We have been working with Melinda for the past few years. We are an upper scale construction company that finds attention to detail to be paramount. From start to finish every aspect of design and function should be considered. I've been working with Melinda for the past 3 years and it has been outstanding. Being a designer / woodworker myself it's nice to collaborate with someone who appreciates the very fine details of each project. Her exciting optimistic personality and excellent customer service is unmatch to anyone that I've work with in this business. Melinda is very good at what she does. Melinda guided us through our first kitchen renovation. Wow, there are so many things to consider when getting a kitchen redone, that's why I'm glad she was there to walk us through it. She seemed to understand what our style was, which was quite different from our neighbor's style (she also just did their kitchen), so I consider that a testament to how she is able to work within different design styles to please different tastes. I needed a lot of help on figuring out the usability and what kind of drawers and cabinets would work best... she had that covered. She was also really flexible and I feel like she went above and beyond when it came to making sure our job went well and things looked great. Pardon the photo - we have a bunch of kids, so it is very lived in - and we have tape on the cabinets because our installer is getting ready to install the handles. Maybe I can update the photo later with a cleaner one and handles installed!!

Melinda designed a spectacular kitchen after listening to all of my thoughts and spending countless hours refining the plan. The end result made clear her expertise, all of the details were though of, filler, trim installation adaptations and an end result which was perfection.

I purchased the cabinets from this company and M. Woodruff. The final design was a composite of 5 different kitchen cabinet design companies. I incorporated and shared the design features I liked best from each of them. Her suggestions for trimming and tweaking the design was most helpful.
