Highly recommend Silva, particularly Ray as our project manager. The Silva team takes pride in craftmanship, strong ethics, great communications, on time and budget, and just all around nice people. We tore down and rebuilt the whole house, the most stressful part of it all was getting permits and dealing with PG&E. Ray was by our side the whole entire way, trying to help unblock it. He worked closely with our design team to build to plan, Ray made the process so easy and seamless. Remodeling is stressful for so many reasons, but Ray really listens and was so patient throughout the whole process. Really appreciated the trusted partnership! Overall great experience will the Silva team!

I was referred to Silva Custom Construction by Ariana at Kitchen Design Services, as they have worked together numerous times before on kitchen remodels. My project was a kitchen remodel (everything new!), as well as renovation of my adjacent living space, which included built in a new fireplace, bookcases, storage, wine center, and lighting. I was very impressed with the Silva team, starting from my initial consultation with Sean (the owner), my initial meeting with my project manager, Kevin Leathers, all the way through interacting with the daily construction workers. While no construction project is without hiccups, I very much appreciated that the Silva team presented me with options on how to resolve said hiccups, and we talked through and collectively came to a decision on the best approach forward. The attention to detail by Chino and Jose when they were doing the finishing work was spectacular. Kevin was great at keeping a very aggressive and tight schedule, to the point that we were ahead of schedule. So, when we had the hiccups (due to my house's wonky geometry), there was minimal impact to the overall timeline. In the end, I absolutely love the finished product, and I have have received compliments from everyone who has seen it. I would definitely recommend Silva Custom Construction for your renovation project!

Sean and his crew were so easy to work with. From the estimate process (clarifying what we envisioned/hope for versus what was in our budget!) to the actual work and, really, true craftsmanship, we were at ease, confident and ultimately thrilled with the project. We had a fantastic experience with Silva Construction with the Sophisticated First Floor Remodeling that included 4 months remodeling of full kitchen, bathroom, floors, windows, wall removal, and more. This was our first remodeling so we had a lot of questions and Sean, Silva Construction team was very knowledgeable, responsive and detailed answering all our questions. Jim, Project Manager is absolutely the best, very client oriented and always found solutions for us. He was always available for any questions, detailed explaining phases throughout the project and is cat friendly. Shannon, Content & Design was extremely helpful bringing design to reality and utilizing her expertise to pick out the materials. We are grateful for Silva Construction, they exceeded our expectations and love the final results of this project. We will be using Silva for future home remodeling projects and highly recommend Silva Construction

We recently completed a 5 month kitchen remodel with SCC. Overall we were very satisfied and would recommend them. As with any big project you have some bumps in the road but nothing that was a deal breaker. Advice to all, do your homework when reviewing your initial quote and have a good understanding of what is and isn’t included for all the subs. We were mostly happy with the work the subs did. The framers were amazing working tirelessly in the hot summer months. Electricians had a bit of an attitude and didn’t always have a “can do” spirit like everyone else on the team. Our project manager with SCC was Jim Wright. He always went the extra mile for us and rarely said No. His number one goal was to find a solution to make sure he had happy clients. Genuinely a great guy, a big asset to SCC!

We had Silva do our kitchen in 2017. It was a full tear out and rebuild, we changed the layout of the peninsula, moved windows, and installed an island and larger appliances. The team was great throughout the process! We also had the floor done for the entire house at the same time so it matched - that was great too. A few months after the work was completed I discovered an issue and one call was all it took to get the issue resolved. Really great experience!

They gave excellent suggestions on getting high quality finish supplies. The design and architecture was done by a different company, and there were flaws in that. However Silva Custom Construction handled all the interactions with the design company, and I did not have to worry about that at all. The project was completed with minimal disruption, and the site was always kept clean and organized. We lived in the house during the entire construction period. But we were not inconvenienced at all. I couldn't be happier with the final result – everything looks exactly as I envisioned. I highly recommend Silva Custom Construction for anyone looking for reliable construction services.

The team at Silva did a fantastic job on our kitchen, as well as a few other ‘minor’ odds and ends: a new roof, a 160sq ft addition, new patio steps, and new doors and casings for the entire house. They were patient and quick to respond whenever we had questions or issues, and their commitment to perfection has transformed our outdated ranch house into a beautiful, bespoke home that we never want to leave.
