Schumm Remodelers renovated our 1968 colonial in New Providence--new kitchen, 2 1/2 bathrooms, removed walls, relocated laundry, new floors, pretty much everything. The house turned out beautifully and Carl did a great job from start to finish, including coordinating kitchen design, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. I made a few on-the-fly changes to the project and he was very accommodating. There were also a few acts of God along the way--a snow storm, a malfunctioning sump pump--and Carl went above and beyond to make sure that I (an out-of-towner at the time) wasn't facing them alone. He does great work and he's stand-up guy.

Carl and his team were very professional, had a great work ethic and did a wonderful job. I am particularly impressed with the cabinetry and wood work. My kitchen and bathroom came out beautifully. The craftsmanship is excellent. He worked very well with my amazing interior designer and coordinated all of the other subcontractors, which prevented a lot of headaches. They definitely followed through until everything was to my satisfaction. And best of all, the project was completed a few days ahead of a pretty aggressive schedule. While not cheap, I found their prices to be very reasonable and competitive. Still thinking of a few more additions and projects over the next few years. I will definitely be calling Schumm Remodelers again.

We have worked with Schumm Remodelers on a number of occasions. Most recently we worked with them to install a custom kitchen. They worked very closely with us through the design phase and were able to implement everything that we desired. The entire team was a pleasure to work with, and during the install every effort was made to keep things moving and make it as painless as possible. As well, any issues we have had since the install, have been addressed very promptly. It is encouraging to see a company that stands behind its work I this way. Carl and his team work well together. They are timely, professional, organized and very neat! I would recommend them to anyone looking to do a renovation on their house. This was our first home renovation ( kitchen and bar area) Of course, we were completely gutting our kitchen and moving the location of everything---clearly we were nervous about getting it right. Well-- happy to say we picked the right person for the job. Carl not only did a fantastic job but more than once his answer to a question/concern was "let's get this right." He was easy to communicate with, always available, consistently on time and truly gave us a quality kitchen that we will love for many years to come. After the job was over both my husband and I agreed that he is the only one we will quote our next renovation with! We wouldn't want anyone else!

We have been working with Carl Schumm for 15+ years. Not only does Carl do exceptional work, but his clients always have great things to say about him. His clients are repeat customers which speaks for itself. For selfish reasons, whenever a client of Carl’s calls to make an appointment we are happy because we know the job will be stress free. In construction, things do not always go as planned but it never throws him off. Instead, he works with it. Carl is always on the jobs site and is accessible to the clients and us suppliers when needed. He will always return emails and phone calls and you will never have to chase him. Having contracted Schumm Remodelers before we had no hesitation in requesting a quote from Carl for the re-design of our kitchen.
