Dovetail Design and Cabinetry

Lori Randle was phenomenal! I have a 1940s farm cottage and the kitchen was horrible and included the original windows and a lopsided floor. I wanted to renovate the kitchen and also to put a bathroom upstairs. Lori came to the house multiple times, met me at tile and floor places, listened to what I wanted, recommended the best cabinet installer and builder, recommended fixtures-all in keeping with the feel of an old farmhouse and what I was seeking. Having quality from both Dovetail along with the builder and installers was critical because this was being done during COVID-19. People visiting my house say it looks like I got an HTV Home Make Over!

Elizabeth was a joy to work with! She was very receptive to our wants and ideas, and was also very willing to make changes. I would recommend her highly.

Every element of working with Dovetail was fantastic. We did a complete renovation of our kitchen and an update to the master bathroom vanity. Amy's design was right on target with preserving my farm house style. She was able to combine my desire for a vintage look with modern conveniences. Her team was so helpful in coordinating granite delivery and even got the installers back to add an extra hole for the sink. Eric did an amazing job installing, especially with our very crooked old house! I couldn't be more pleased.

Absolutely the best design firm I’ve ever worked with. Any Hart was a delight to work with and she knew exactly what we wanted. Everything was done perfectly and seamlessly. The cabinets are stunning and the navy blue island is just the eye catcher when you enter the room. We are so happy with our new kitchen all due to the wonderful work of Dovetail Kitchens.

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Dovetail and Amy and the team. From the initial consultation in our home we knew we had the right group we wanted to work with. It started with our initial in home consultation as we wanted to increase the size of our kitchen and really open up the space. We wanted to remove a wall and use the dining room for our new kitchen and open the space up from the small kitchen that was there when the home was built. We had a contractor to do that work but needed design and cabinetry suggestions and guidance and Amy and team were amazing at all of the above. The design help was conversational and not intimidating (our first major remodel in our own home) and Amy was genuinely interested in our happiness and help revise drawings until she and we knew we had it. From there we visited the showroom for cabinets, hardware and even tile options for the backsplash. The showroom has many different styles and options that are labeled and marked to help make selections easy as we worked through styles and colors. From there we placed out order and now have a fantastic new kitchen. We joke (and I'm only half way joking) that if we had to go back to our old kitchen I would want to sell the house. The new kitchen has improved our home and how we live in it so much it's amazing. Thank you Amy and Dovetail

She understood what was important to us and was able to design a kitchen that is great to work in. This is the 5th time we have built a new home and I was very please with the professional manner that Dovetail handled this project.

We hired Dovetail Design & Cabinetry for all of the cabinetry in The River House Condominiums project. They did an amazing job, with great attention to detail. Purchased a home with a dark and worn kitchen. Was referred to Divetail by my realtor, and from start to finish they were awesome! New kitchen is beautiful and bright! I love it and so does everyone who sees it!! So happy with the whole project! Would call on then again in a heartbeat!!

My husband and I set out to do a major remodel of our first floor. A big part of that was the kitchen. Amy listened to our ideas and added some of her own to make our dream kitchen come true. The cabinets arrived exactly on time, the installation was done with great skill, exactly on time. The punch list has been resolved quickly. The cabinets were all made in the USA with wood grown in the USA. Really couldn't be happier.

Amy was very good at guiding us through the project from choosing a layout, to choosing cabinetry and finishing touches. She and Elizabeth were very good at understanding our desire and style. Installation was a breeze. The quality of work that Eric and his team provided was exceptional. They maintained a clean work environment and were highly professional.
