Gail has worked with us on two projects, to design a water garden at Stratford Point and on a pollinator garden in Guilford. The water garden significantly exceeded all expectations both in form and function. The garden has met rave reviews from the community and has become a local attraction. The birds, butterflies and other wildlife have greatly utilized both the water and the plantings. The plant selections were impeccable in both form and function! The Guilford project is still in process, but the designs look wonderful!

Gail applied her fine artistic sensibility when creating a lovely landscape for our home. Her renderings were beautiful and true to the final product. Plus she is a great listener and a pleasure to work with! Our complex project involved substantial excavation, the creation of multiple levels, steps, a pergola, etc. and Gail was able to work with our contractor to develop detailed technical plans. We highly recommend her!

Gail was terrific! She listened to what we were looking for and with her talented design sense, provided timely responses and and realistic proposed drawings customized to our property. We loved her ideas and she made it easy for us to say "I'll take that!" She then worked with our contractors to implement. We have welcomed her back with small enhancements over the years and would love to have a reason to work with her again!

Gail is a professional architectural landscape designer of the highest quality. She knows hard scape and land scape design and is pleasant to work with. I served with her on our town's design review commission and her input was most valuable, as we reviewed commercial renovations of properties with substantial budgets.

thanx mary, the term 'architectural landscape designer' you use is accurate, as i am not a landscape Architect, but landscape Designer implies that i am designing just the 'soft' landscape elements - plants...whereas my strength lies in the geometric order and aesthetic shapes of the functional hardscape, an extension of the home's style and invitation outward from the interior rooms.

Lin Daniels Design

Gail Bishop worked with me on a large project in 2005 on a house in Wilton, Connecticut. The house had a difficult elevation that required extensive retaining walls and site work in addition to a hardscape and planting plan. The project won three HOBI awards for myself and business partner. Gail's design was outstanding and she was a pleasure to work with. I admire her creativity and collaboration with other professionals. Her strength is hard scape and she delivered on this project with multiple outdoor rooms, an outdoor kitchen and an oversized pool with a waterfall. I chose Gail for my own home in 2014 which had a difficult change in elevation on a narrow lot and also won a HOBI award.
