It is a rare moment in life when you get a wonderful product you've dreamed of for a long time and feel lucky to have gotten it! Im a local doctor, love to travel and always try to bring a memory/souvenir from my trip. But now i feel that my new door from Doors for builders.com is the most beautiful object i’ve got and i didnt have to travel for it! I found it on their website in the clearance section for the fraction of original price! Angel, my salesperson, sent me the pictures and specifications. I fell in love. It’s a very thick( 23/4 in) mahogaly single glass panel double wood door with special technology panel at the bottom that resists warping. It is made in Europe and imporded preassembled with a frame. I had several in depth conversations with the manager Daniel Biodrowicz, who has exhaustive knowledge of his product. Daniel described in detail the way the door was made and functions. When it turned out that my opening was 10 inches wider than the door frame itself Daniel ordered and manufactured 3 large pieces of mahogany trim for the exterior. He recommended beautiful locks from Emtek Wilshire line and helped me decide whether to get a single lock or a pair( i settled on the latter). The door was predrilled at their shop for only additional $100. It only took 2 weeks for everything to be manufactured, prepared , stained, polished, wrapped and delivered to my doorstep. The truck driver helped me carry the pieces into the garage. When my carpenter waivered on the lock installation( thick door needed an extension kit) Daniel has sent a master installer Mariusz the same day. He installed the locks on site in a matter of 1.5 hours for free! Gave me a new smoother lock cylinder, Cleaned and vacuumed the place, accepted a diet coke and left with a big smile. What can i say? This was the best home improvement experience of my life. Great and rare product bought at a great price, delivered and installed quickly and professionally. Daniel gave me unparalleled product support and advice. Thank you! And even though the lifetime of a mahogany door is 60 years,-i will return!!!

I am an architect with over 20 years of experience and have not had the pleasure of working with Doors for Builders until I embarked on my own home renovation. They were super responsive, and worked tirelessly to help me with the details for the steel and glass wall that I installed. They even made a custom piece for me that helped integrate the unit into the rest of the design. For the quality of the product, the price is unbeatable. I would absolutely work with them again.

We chose Doors for Builders and have not regretted our decision. We shopped many other locations for new wood doors and, although the Doors for Builders doors were pricier, we soon realized that the cost was clearly a reflection of the exceptional quality of their doors. We recently had our door installed. Love our new door. The quality was unbelievable. Originally, we were thinking all wood. But Sandra talked me into the Euro Technology. Also, the original color I was thinking was too dark. When they came out to measure, we went over the color. I am glad they did. Thank you for a great door.
