I have worked with Patrick on several projects and he truly knows classic architecture, he understands how to create beautiful,timeless structures with details that are not only beautiful but make sense for today's living. Patrick works very well with the clients and builder and listens to their needs to make the project a very personal and satisfying experience. The detailed drawings he makes reflect the thought and care he puts into every project,he is truly a talent.

We have worked with Patrick on three separate occasions for design work in our two homes. In our first meeting Patrick asked a million questions that at first seemed over the top. However, the reality is that he was learning exactly how we used our current space and was determining our needs accordingly. In all three projects, his process of really understanding us, the customer, led to an extremely innovative, creative and also very functional design. In our first project he redesigned our upstairs and we were blown away by the creative solution of creating a back hallway to make the best use of the windows and layout for each room. We are in the middle of our final project and are excited to see his final design come to life. We highly recommend Patrick as his work is exceptional, he is incredibly honest and trustworthy and he is a pleasure to work with.

My wife and I worked with Patrick on the design and drawings for the addition to our home. His vision of what our home could be was nothing short of amazing. This vision came as the result of his taking the time to understand how we lived as a family and how the space would best serve our daily needs. His first conceptual design was exactly what we wanted because he cared enough to understand us as clients. As the project progressed he was always available to answer questions and consult with the builder when needed. This level of concern and care for the customer is rare but it is Patrick's first priority.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Patrick on the remodel and addition of our home! He was extremely professional and displayed excellent attention to detail on every aspect of the project. Our home was built in 1940 and I was very concerned with creating symmetry between our existing home and the new addition and the overall flow of the space. He was extremely attentive to our needs and created a wonderful space for our family which flows seamlessly. I would highly recommend Patrick for any project! He is attentive, creative, and passionate about his work!

Patrick is exceptional in his trade. Not only is he gifted in his work but he is thorough and diligent and connects with his clients. We bought a near tear down and entrusted Patrick to design basically a brand new house on existing foundation. He did an amazing job and was careful to incorporate as many "wish list" items as he possibly could. He was a pleasure to work with.

We hired Patrick for a new construction project in 2016. Right from the beginning he impressed us with his ability to listen and to literally visualize our discussions on the spot by drawing up sketches throughout our meetings. He has a very solid understanding of local building codes and material choices, which helped us to avoid costly modifications during the construction phase. There are many that can take a project to 80-85% completion but only a few follow truly through, and he did. New construction is often times very stressful, but designing the house with him was a great experience. We're very happy with the final product, also as the use of the available space has been truly optimized.

Responsive, professional, on-time, talented and super nice! We cannot recommend Patrick highly enough. We still love the design. We expanded our 1924 Plymouth house. Added mudroom, 1st floor bath, laundry room, master closet, bedroom, jack and jill bathroom. All 1 project. Amazing!

I used Patrick for the design of a home remodel in Birmingham. I added approximately 600 square feet. This was a difficult project for Patrick to undertake as the home had some issues with layout. Patrick did an amazing job. We absolutely loved how everything turned out. We sold the property years after the remodel and received the highest dollar per square foot when we sold in our area. I attribute this sale and price we received to his design as we tried to sell the home before the remodel and were unsuccessful in doing so. We absolutely recommend his services.

Patrick is as talented as they come! He is the most creative, out-of-the box thinker I have ever seen. There is no problem he can’t solve. In fact, he will present you with at least 2-3 different, viable solutions to choose from! His process from beginning to end is meticulous. Patrick spent HOURS with us during our initial kick-off meeting getting to know what we wanted from each space in our home, not just from a design perspective, but also how we intended to live in and use each space. He takes the time to get to really know his clients, so he can deliver exactly what they want. Patrick’s first “draft” of our design was probably about 80% of the way there, because of the time he took at the front end to really learn about our family, and our needs and desires for our new home. In addition to his unparalleled talent, Patrick was the greatest pleasure to work with! He truly wants your new home to be exactly what YOU want, not what he wants. He puts his heart into every project he does, and it shows. He is extremely accessible, responsive, and organized. He doesn’t drop you like a hot potato once the designs are delivered and the last check cleared. He continues to assist and advise throughout the building process as well, to the extent you need him. He has collaborated well with our interior designer and continues to make himself available to answer any questions we may have. I can’t recommend Patrick highly enough!!!

I have worked with Patrick Dyke on many projects. My favorite one was designing our lake house with him. Patrick designed exactly what I described I wanted our lake house to be. He took the time to hear how we lived and how this house would be used. It is functionally the best house we have ever lived in. The project from start to finish with Patrick was so delightful and easy that I see another house in the future with him.

Patrick designed our house about 5 years ago. I can’t say enough about the level of integrity, passion, attention to detail and caring that he shows during the design process and beyond. He is a true professional and an incredible architect. His work is outstanding and we love our house.
