Hearthstone Luxury Pools + Outdoors

Everyone at Hearthstone was Great! They helped to get our Swimming Pool Ready and Complete to pass multiple pool inspections due to a previous pool contractor’s mistakes. We will be using Hearthstone again in the near future for any maintenance that will be required on our pool. Thanks again Hearthstone for everything!

When my husband and I started thinking about replacing our 20-year-old fiberglass plunge pool, we weren’t even sure we wanted another pool. We considered simply filling it in. But with four grandchildren, especially our oldest granddaughter who is nonverbal autistic and has sensory processing challenges, we knew how important the water was to her. Swimming is one of the places where she truly thrives, and we wanted to preserve that joy for her and create a space where our whole family could continue making memories together. We had met with several pool builders a few years earlier and when we met with Brad Renken and Hearthstone Luxury Pools, I knew he was the one I wanted to build our pool. Although we weren’t financially ready to move forward at the time, when we finally decided to build, Brad was our first call and choosing Hearthstone was absolutely the right decision. Brad’s architectural background and eye for design are evident in every aspect of the project. We came to him with a simple goal: create a beautiful family pool that fits naturally with our home and backyard. We trusted his expertise, and he delivered a design that exceeded our expectations. The pool is stunning, fits our space perfectly, and is larger and more functional than we ever imagined possible. We also chose to have Hearthstone manage a landscaping redesign, including our challenging backyard hill, adding plants to our existing beds, and creating a gravel garden. Now that everything has had time to establish and bloom, the entire backyard has been transformed into a beautiful, cohesive outdoor space that we enjoy every day. No large construction project is complete without a few details that need attention along the way, and ours was no exception. What mattered to us was that Brad never disappeared after the project was complete. He has personally taken the time to come by, answer questions, and address concerns, often handling things himself when he easily could have just given instructions over the phone. That level of customer service and personal investment means a lot. A special thank you also goes to Courtney, who has been phenomenal throughout the entire process. She kept everything moving, coordinated with the many contractors involved, and was always responsive, organized, and kind. She truly made the experience easier. Every company needs a Courtney! We’d also like to thank Jonathan for his friendliness and keeping us informed on the timeline & made working with the Hearthstone team a pleasure. Hearthstone didn’t just build us a pool, they helped create a place where our children and grandchildren can gather, laugh, and make memories for years to come. My wife and I met with Brad at a home we were considering purchasing to have him provide an estimate of the cost to install a new pool. We did not end up purchasing that home, but the experience we had with Brad leading up, and including that walk-through was fantastic. He was very flexible with scheduling to meet us to do the walk-through, and he took the time to step through possible complications with the install (which I appreciated since we all know those things can happen!), as well as options for a pool. He was very positive in his approach and did not try to apply any pressure to move forward with his company. We have been working with Brad and Hearthstone for around 10 years. Our company does the landscape design and installation around the beautiful pools that Hearthstone creates. When I am recommending Hearthstone to potential customers, I tell them that the vision and expertise that Brad brings to the table in un-matched in the industry. The pool designs that he creates are breathtaking and ambitious. He often exceeds the expectation of the client with the finished product. Working with multiple other pool contractors over the years, I see many other simple designs, or poorly thought-out spaces. This is not the case when you use Hearthstone. Hearthstone did an amazing job with our pool! They came for a consultation and after viewing our backyard, they were able to create the perfect concept. When construction started they were top notch. They paid very close to details and the owner frequently made visited our property to ensure that everything was being done properly and with the quality that we expected. Starting with Brad’s interview with us to learn what we wanted all the way through his custom design and build we were informed and impressed with his design selections and incorporating the natural environment of our backyard. We continue to enjoy our backyard “Resort” pool complete with rock features, grotto and waterfall along with our outdoor kitchen area.

Brad and his team of skilled craftsmen created an incredible water feature for a very high end exterior Outdoor Living display for PMC Building Materials. This interactive display was needing some type of focal point water feature, but we had limited space. Brad came in and designed a waterfall that was perfect for the space! He and his teams conceptual skills are very impressive and his skilled craftsmen were able transfer the concept to reality, creating a water feature that tied our entire Outdoor Living interactive display together! The display area flows perfectly from one space to the next now and is aesthetically perfect.

Hearthstone built an AMAZING pool for us. Because of the size/challenge of our project, we interviewed 5 pool builders. Brad (Renken) not only designed the perfect pool for our location, he was flexible with some changes and most importantly on budget. First time visitors ask us if we were on the TV show Insane Pools and I say nope, we used Hearthstone Luxury Pools.
