On Site Renovations

We hired On Site Renovations to do a basement renovation that included new flooring, lighting, bathroom update and laundry room. From the minute we hired Mike, owner of On Site, we found him friendly, professional, and a good listener who also contributed great ideas and suggestions once he understood what we were looking for. His quotations were always fair, and the work performed by he and his team was excellent. Furthermore, they were always on time and very reliable and every task of the project was completed on time and to high standard. I can't recommend On Site Renovations enough!

On Site Renovations (Mike Getzlaf) did a complete renovation of one bathroom, a partial renovation of another large bathroom, and upgrading of our family room. We are very pleased with the work and how everything has turned out. Mike provided suggestions and input as appropriate, and we were not overwhelmed with questions. The quotations provided before each part of the project proceeded contained a good level of detail, and the work was completed with few extra charges above the quoted price (all of which extras had been discussed before being undertaken). Overall, quality workmanship at what we consider to be a reasonable price.

We are thrilled with the deck built by On Site Renovations. Mike paid a great deal of attention to us as we shared our ideas for our deck, truly making the effort to clearly understand what we wanted in a deck. He was very responsive to our ideas, took the time required to make sure we had a feasible plan that addressed all our wish-list items, provided great advice when unexpected issues arose (as they inevitably do), and constructed a high-quality deck that will serve us well for many years. It was a very respectful experience, and the result was a beautiful, well-built deck. We can't wait to enjoy it to its fullest next summer.

Mike Getzlaf has done numerous renovations and projects for us. They include a recent kitchen renovation, 3 bathroom renovations, and a sundeck enlargement. Mike is very easy to work with. He is creative, a problem solver, and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the renovation. He keeps up to date on building codes and building products. He has an eye for detail which is obvious in his work. There is no one else that we would consider using.

Mike renovated both our Main and Ensuite bathrooms He was very professional, prompt, courteous, and focused on detail and quality. Mike has almost singlehandedly overseen the restoration of our 1930 home, including renovations of 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a family room, and a new deck and carport. He is metculous in his attention to detail, always views his work from the point of view of the homeowner, and never cuts corners. The fact that we've never had to leave the house during his work is a testament to how clean he leaves the site every day. He is also a pleasure to deal with and is dedicated to finding innovative solutions or offering potential design ideas when unexpected obstacles arise, such that the final results always exceed expectations. After suffering through experiences with other contractors, we would never think of using anyone but Mike.
